The only way I'd go is if each of them jumped out after shooting three coyotes. You're probably right. But I remember seeing stories in the past about people shooting wolves from a helicopter. I think it was about ten years ago. In the future, wolves will be flying helicopters and shooting humans on the ground.

Well, let's check a database of everything Trump has said on the subject. Did he ever say he's still in charge of the military? Nope, so he must be because he wouldn't have lied about anything.
Let's check LexisNexis and see if there is any precedent or caselaw where a former President* retained control over the military. Nope. But there are secret courts whose decisions don't get reported so since it's not there it must be true.
