Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Merrick is an asshole....
Ex-Trump aide Navarro indicted; Meadows won't be charged

... The department’s decision to not prosecute Meadows and Dan Scavino, another adviser to former President Donald Trump, was revealed in a letter sent Friday by a federal prosecutor to a lawyer for the House of Representatives....

... The split decisions show how the Justice Department has opted to evaluate on a case-by-case basis contempt referrals it has received from Congress rather than automatically pursue charges against each and every Trump aide who has resisted congressional subpoenas.

The committee's leaders called the decision to not prosecute Meadows and Scavino “puzzling.” In a statement late Friday, Reps. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., and Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., said: "We hope the Department provides greater clarity on this matter. ... No one is above the law.”

Though the Justice Department has referred multiple Trump aides for potential prosecution for refusal to cooperate, Navarro is only the second to face criminal charges, following the indictment last fall of former White House adviser Steve Bannon.

Navarro, 72, was charged with one contempt count for failing to appear for a deposition before the House committee and a second charge for failing to produce documents the committee requested.
Great, 2 traitors that already have one foot in the grave.
... Meadows, a close Trump adviser seen by House investigators as a vital witness to key events, initially cooperated with the committee, turning over more than 2,000 text messages sent and received in the days leading up to and of the attack. But in December, Meadows informed the committee that he would not sit for a deposition. Scavino was held in contempt in April after declining to cooperate with Congress....
Are these guys bribing Garland or what?

Garland is all republican. Just another smoke and mirrors scam. Sort of a muller on steroids. A year and a half and he finally reluctantly indicted one person.

It was the DOJ's job to enforce the Congressional subpoena and then and then could Meadows claim executive privilege as needed to specific questions; instead Merrick elevated his office and some unconstitutional blanket privilege to trump people over Congress.

Biden has to see what going on, leading me to believe that he approves.

They likely decided not to indict Meadows and Scavino because they both cooperated to some extent with the investigation. Navarro, on the other hand, told them to suck sand. So Peter has his stellar unblemished record of never being right about anything still intact. He will likely also be wrong about the menu in prison.

Don't know that he neccesarily approves, but short of firing him his hands are pretty much tied.

He's said he won't interfere with DOJ (as it should be), and if he goes public with dissatisfaction that makes him trumplike with dictatorial aspirations.

He shouldn't interfere, but when the doj fails to do its job, or is seen as working for trump, it's his job to fire the AG.

I always wondered whatever happened to Pinhead. Couldn't stand anything more than 3 minutes of it. That industrial floor polisher in the background was a big distraction. Hopefully, this idiot will be among the victims of the next mass shooting. Let us pray.

Very Freudian "mistake". Whatever, she said it and the more notable thing may be that TRE45ON and thousands of others cheered her for doing so.
