Wonder what kind of treatment he'll get next time he gets caught with a weapon or driving 25mph over the limit.

Or he gets stopped for something and goes to the "do you know who I am" act and gets either "no" or "well, I know who you were."
And he will get stopped and/or get in trouble for something stupid.

Pool needed.
I predict he'll have a king hell meltdown within the next 60 days. Maybe even kill himself. No, scratch that......stupid people NEVER commit suicide.
He'll probably party like it's 1999 and maybe stay out of trouble (mostly due to his handlers) for the rest of his term.

After that, all bets are off.

Chuck Edwards 29,411 33.40%
Madison Cawthorn 28,092 31.90%

I think I saw 1 MadCaw ad 1 time, period. Meanwhile, there were incessant Edwards ads, bunches of Burril ads and even a few O'Connell ads. If MadCaw had not frittered away his money advantage I'm pretty sure that he would have been able to repair enough of his rep to easily win the very narrow race.

Nevermind Garland - don't the state people have some jurisdiction? Oh wait, those would be part of the Desantistan gestapo, I guess.

I think we had a shot if MadCaw won the primary. However, the RepuQs probably would have won the seat back in 2024. Oddly, this make me feel a little better. Thanks.

Realistically, the group of western NC counties unfortunately probably should, by population, have a RepuQ rep. Your (collective) mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get one that is reasonably qualified and understands that Asheville Matters too. Even a RepuQ can do good things for his/her district if that's what they focus on and not on culture wars and fictional issues.

MadCaw beat a good dem candidate in 2020.
