The federal minimum for sex trafficking a minor is 10 years. So, regardless of the publicized evidence, the denials will continue until a deal is struck or there's a conviction. I'm not necessarily wishing that harshness on him if it was consensual travel with a 17 year old, even if there was prostitution, but I won't feel sorry for PizzaGaetz, either.

10 years is harsh for a technicality that could be squeezed into "trafficking," but if he really was involved in what looks like online prostitution with underage girls, I'm not unhappy if they threw the book at him. Anyway, he's a sorry excuse for a human being that has gotten by with a lot in the past. I'm not unhappy if they make it up on this potential charge.
