Russia Says It’s Losing Because Ukraine Has Experimental Mutant Troops Created in Secret Biolabs

Nearly five months into its senseless war against Ukraine, Russia has concocted a wild new explanation for why the Kremlin’s plans for a quick takeover fell apart so spectacularly—because Ukrainian troops were turned into superhuman killing machines during “secret experiments” in American-run biolabs, of course.

Never mind the myriad reports of Russian troops refusing to fight by the thousands, sabotaging their own shoddy equipment and even deliberately wounding themselves to abandon the war, Russian lawmakers claim the real setback for Moscow was “drugged up” Ukrainian soldiers....
:wtf: :lol:
Sadly it's true, the Ukrainians have been doing this. Here is actual combat footage just before some poor Russians lost their lives to these enhanced soldiers.

I think it's banned from YT and Twitter. Maybe on Russian social media?

I have seen a very few pro-Russia war porn clips, didn't notice who posted them.

Speaking of genius moves . . . Grain of salt, but they asked for it.
Russia has suffered an estimated 75,000 casualties in Ukraine invasion, U.S. officials say

... Speaking to CNN, Michigan Rep. Elissa Slotkin said the estimate was revealed during a classified briefing with officials from the Biden administration. “We were briefed that over 75,000 Russians have either been killed or wounded [in Ukraine], which is huge. ... Over 80% of their land forces are bogged down, and they’re tired,” she said.

That roughly correlates to the number of casualties estimated by CIA Director William Burns on July 20. “I think the latest estimates from the U.S. intelligence community would be, you know, something in the vicinity of 15,000 killed and maybe three times that wounded, so a quite significant set of losses,” Burns said at the Aspen Security Forum.

He went on to say that Ukrainian soldiers had “suffered as well,” but “probably a little less than” enemy forces. More recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s senior adviser said military casualties were between 100 and 200 per day.

Ahead of Russia’s invasion, President Biden said Russia had amassed around 150,000 troops, while British Prime Minister Boris Johnson claimed that 200,000 were stationed on Ukraine’s borders. No figure has been disclosed by Russia’s Defense Ministry.

In a briefing on Monday, the U.K.’s Ministry of Defense said the number of Russian soldiers who had died in the first three months of the invasion in Ukraine were comparable to the Soviet Union’s losses during its decade-long conflict in Afghanistan.

“A combination of poor low-level tactics, limited air cover, a lack of flexibility, and a command approach which is prepared to reinforce failure and repeat mistakes has led to this high casualty rate, which continues to rise in the Donbas offensive,” the department said.

Keeping relatively quiet on the number of casualties its military has suffered, Russia announced on March 25 that it had counted 1,351 deaths. No public statements have been made since.

Russia announces troop pullback from Ukraine's Kharkiv area

Russia’s Defense Ministry announced Saturday that it was pulling back troops from two areas in Ukraine’s eastern Kharkiv region where a Ukrainian counteroffensive has made significant advances in the past week.

The news came after days of apparent advances by Ukraine south of Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city, in what could become the biggest battlefield success for Ukrainian forces since they thwarted a Russian attempt to seize the capital, Kyiv, at the start of the nearly seven-month war.

“The Russian army in these days is demonstrating the best that it can do — showing its back," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video released by his office Saturday night. “And, of course, it's a good decision for them to run.” ...

Moscow Officials Urge Putin to GTFO: ‘Everything Went Wrong’

Ruh roh...

https://www.yahoo.com/news/five-russian ... 22781.html
Otoh:

As Russians Retreat, Putin Is Criticized by Hawks Who Trumpeted His War

Some takeaways:
* Putin is being accused of fiddling while the Russian Army burns.
* Hawks want him to commit to total war.
* Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I thought that I'd been hearing about a planned counter-offensive in southern Ukraine. Maybe that is happening, too, but these dramatic gains are in the Kharkiv Oblast (province) of eastern and northeastern Ukraine. Was there successful misdirection?
* We briefly wondered where the Russian war porn is. Telegram is popular social media there. It was founded by 2 Russian brothers, one now in France, has its legal domicile in the British Virgin Islands, operational center in the United Arab Emirates and is available in 58 languages. Here it is https://telegram.org/ . Looks like one has to download software. I'm not sure whether it's possible to lurk without doing so.

Russian troops fleeing after their lines were shattered left behind so much ammo and weaponry Ukraine struggled to handle it all

:lol: It's like Oprah: You get a tank and you get a tank, everyone gets a tank!
... In fleeing their positions, Russian troops have reportedly put on civilian clothes to escape capture as they run from the front lines and even stolen bicycles and vehicles from locals so they can evade Ukrainian drones....

During a speech on Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that since the start of September his military has liberated around 1,250 square miles of territory formerly occupied by Russian troops.

"These days, the Russian army is showing its best — showing its back," he said. "And, in the end, it is a good choice for them to run away. There is and will be no place for the occupiers in Ukraine."
:---P
The only goal Russia will be able to achieve now is a special military defeat.

Incredible moment Russian politician admits 'it's impossible' to defeat Ukraine on live TV

Not so surprising that a lone Russian pol feels this way, stunning that it's aired on state TV. Not making any predictions, but a coup or a Putin resignation in disgrace now seem possible.

It wasn't my imagination. Ukraine talked up a southern counter-offensive for a month, to the point where Russia even shifted forces from the north. Nice.

Found under an article about the mass graves being discovered. Mostly true afaik, not necessarily all good things. Possibly a Ukrainian source, I've cleaned up grammar and spelling, and added a few gripes in red:
Putin....Time's Man of the Year. Single handedly:

Brought Europe closer together;
Rejuvenated NATO's charter and purpose for existing;
Expanded NATO members;
Encouraged fast track for Ukraine to join EU;
Changed the idea of Ukraine of joining NATO from impossible to likely;
Motivated Ukrainians to en-militarize their country to ensure their own security;
Motivated Ukraine military industries;
Increased the size of trained and experienced Ukraine military personnel by 100 fold (even a mother of 4 can now pick up a rifle and efficiently shoot down her enemy). Kinda sexist way of putting it, but I get the point;
Moved all Ukrainians to fight for their own destiny both in politics and security;
Moved Ukraine military from Soviet style equipment to NATO standard;
Motivated the world to continue arming Ukraine even after Putin's war in Ukraine, becoming a significant force as the front line of NATO;
Made Ukrainians believe in themselves (and not be afraid of Russians anymore);
Encouraged Europe to be less dependent on Russian oil and gas, and accelerated renewable energies. It's also accelerated non-Russian fossil fuels and may rejuvenate nuclear;
Encouraged some stubborn NATO members (like Germany) to contribute their fair share;
Encouraged many countries in Europe to improve their military defense forces and abilities. True, but sad;
Provide effective marketing for US, UK and other countries' military equipment which improves sales from these countries for many years to come. True, but unfortunate;
Effectively discouraged China from invading Taiwan. Idk if an invasion was in the offing, but China has been warned by Western unity and Biden's strength;
Encouraged Russian oligarchs to be less corrupt international citizens. Maaaybe;

Putin now a mass murderer and war criminal. Putin, You ARE the man!
