Ut-oh, GSW collapses in the 4th quarter, loses homecourt advantage. 0-1.
1-1, excellent! Stomped them by 19. Now on to Boston and hopefully regaining the homecourt edge, if not sweeping the Celtics.
Two in Beantown.......🤞

The games for the 2022 NBA Finals will have a 2-2-1-1-1 format, with the Warriors having home-court advantage.

Coming home 3-1 would be nice, but is perhaps not realistic. I'll settle for 2-2.

And the Warriors beat the Celtics, by a 19 point margin.

Most excellent!

Well, my heart wants 4-1 and I might have posted that if GSW won last night by more than 20. Since they didn't, 4-2.

Third NBA Finals game today, 6 pm PST (9 pm EST).

Broadcast on ABC, starting at ~5 pm PST (8 pm EST) depending on local station.

Should be interesting.

In the third quarter, GS finally takes a one point lead, courtesy Curry, after trailing by 15 or so points for most of the game.

Is this a comeback?

I will say this: Both teams have put in fantastic performances.

At the end, Celtics win it, 116-100. The Warriors put on an admirable effort but it wasn't enough.

On to Friday... saw on the post game local coverage that the Warriors are flying out more of their staff to cheer on the Warriors for the second game in Boston.

Meanwhile, Warriors star player Stephen Curry got hurt toward the end of Wednesday's game.

Golden State Warriors in wait-and-see mode after Stephen Curry caught up in scrum in Game 3 loss

I wonder if whoever landed on Curry did it on purpose...

Golden State Warriors in wait-and-see mode after Stephen Curry caught up in scrum in Game 3 loss

Fascinating...
BOSTON -- There was a lot for the Golden State Warriors to digest following their 116-100 loss to the Celtics on Wednesday night in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. But on the top of their minds after falling behind 2-1 in the series was the status of their superstar, Stephen Curry.

With 4:16 left in the game and the Warriors down by 12, Curry dove to the floor to try to secure a loose ball. He was met by Boston's Al Horford, and as the two struggled to secure the possession, Horford rolled on top of Curry's left leg.

Curry remained on the floor for a few minutes, writhing in pain.

"I saw him getting dove on," Warriors forward Draymond Green said. "So I picked up my foul pushing people off him because he's screaming at the bottom of the pile."

2-2. Curry 43 points, 10 rebounds, so much for injury. Klay Thompson 18 points. Andrew Wiggins 17 points, 16 rebounds. Homecourt advantage! 19 Finals wins for Curry/Thompson/Green, tied with 3 Spurs for best trio ever.

It's going seven.

Lotta frequent flier miles about to be earned.
The NBA is really better off with a 2-3-2 finals format.

I just go with the flow. Why do you like that more than the current 2-2-1-1-1? AGW?
