Never ranked Georgia State is giving them hell. They've led, it seems like, for most of the 1st half. Finally fell behind by 2 with 30 seconds left.

Do they have the depth to hang for the 2nd half....
No. Even though I like Gonzaga somewhat 16 > 1 woulda been cool.

2nd half was all Gonzaga after Georgia State lost their best player - best according to the talker guys

Damn, everyone is winning by 30, Tennessee, Baylor, North Carolina and I guess Gonzaga - they were up 22 when I turned to NC.

So I, like millions of others, googled "St. Peter's" to see WTF they are. Smallish Catholic school in Jersey City. Somebody had already snuck a line in their wiki entry "they are also Kentucky's daddies"

Also, N. Mex. St. (12) 70 > Connecticut (5) 63. Two historically dominant teams knocked out in the first round.

OT. Choke for the ages, sorry. However, I'm not sure that "winning" the opportunity to play Kansas is really a win.

Naa, they just saved from getting somebody hurt. Aztecs looked vulnerable when they lost to BlueField. And then BlueField lost today, too.

Yeah, I was rooting hard for Vermont (13) > Arkansas (4), and was worried for UCLA (4). Damn, underdog USF almost pulled it off in OT.

GO:

Round 1

Yale (14) > Purdue (3)
Auburn (2) > Jacksonville State (15)
Notre Dame (11) > Alabama (6
Montana St. (14) > Texas Tech (3). Yeah, right.
Davidson (10) > Michigan St. (7). Hominies!
Duke (2) > CSU Fullerton (15)
Arizona (1) > Wright St. (16)
Seton Hall (8) > TCU (9). NJ > TX.
Houston (5) > UAB (12)
Illinois (4) > Chattanooga (13)
Loyola Chicago (10) > Ohio St. (7). Jean Jean, the dunkin' machine!

Round 2
Gonzaga (1) > Memphis (9)
N. Mex. St. (12) > Arkansas (4)
N. Carolina (8) > Baylor (1). Yeah, right.
Creighton (9) > KS (1)
UCLA (4) > St. Mary's (5)
St. Peter's (15) > Murray St. (7)

We looked good, except for Kessler busting his elbow open while knocking out 2 teeth of a teammate..
He missed another triple double by 1 block - even with the time he missed because of his elbow.

GO:

Round 1

Yale (14) > Purdue (3). Awww :) .
Auburn (2) > Jacksonville State (15). Yep.
Notre Dame (11) > Alabama (6). Notre Dame leading by 6 early in the 2nd.
Edit: Yes!
Montana St. (14) > Texas Tech (3). Yeah, right. :lolno: Ugh.
Loyola Chicago (10) > Ohio St. (7). Jean Jean, the dunkin' machine!
Ohio State gets ugly win over cold-shooting Loyola Chicago
Jean's been practicing Haitian Vodou behind closed doors. God is pissed, GoCubsGo.
Also:

Miami almost choked, allowing a tie after being up by 7 with 44 seconds to go, pulled off the 2 point win. Congrats, O Really.

President Biden goes with his alma mater to win both NCAA tournaments

Men:
Delaware (15) 60, Villanova (2) 80

Women:
Terps are stomping the Blue Hens early.

Opps.

GO:

Round 1

Davidson (10) > Michigan St (7). Hominies! Almost. Oh well, I won't be conflicted when Duke stomps Michigan St. The Blue Devils are 12-2 vs the Spartans, most of those in MM.
Duke (2) > CSU Fullerton (15). Stomped 'em.
Arizona (1) > Wright St. (16). Stomped 'em.
Seton Hall (8) > TCU (9). NJ > TX. Yuck. Wrong god I guess.
Illinois (4) > Chattanooga (13) Whoa, by a single point.

He'll be okay for the game - I think. Wouldn't a concussion be unlikely from getting a elbow to the mouth?
