The office of the Architect of the Capitol in Washington, the office that preserves and maintains the building’s art and architecture, released Friday the first inventory of the damage sustained during Wednesday’s riot.
Damage to the interior of the building was largely limited to broken glass, broken doors and graffiti, the report said, although it noted that statues, murals and historic benches displayed the residue of various pepper sprays, tear gas and fire extinguishers deployed by both rioters and law enforcement personnel. They will need to be carefully cleaned and conserved, the report said.
... another smoked marijuana in a room with maps of Oregon on the wall....
Was he one of the ones who helped the rioters or was it something personal?
Unknown, so far. Something unrelated to the riot also occurred to me, though the timing sure is suspicious. I also wonder if it might be professional shame over the security failure and the criticism the Capitol Police are getting, or maybe he was close to murdered Officer Brian D. Sicknick. Busted somehow helping the traitors is also a reasonable guess.
... Maybe the FBI will slow walk IDs so that former PINO can't pardon the traitors. Joe's team will then preside over all federal actions, and almost all Repugs will stfu about it.
They'll have to be careful about dubble jeopardy in this....many defendants will plead federal as well as state, local, and personal insanity. Hell, that's quadruple jeopardy. Or at least quadruple stupidity.
Lol AWS terminated Parler. Try to visit the site...
Also, before it was taken down all the raw metadata was downloaded somehow by some dude and put out there for the public to access.
That means all the pics and vids people uploaded and all the metadata (location, time, user, real identity) is available. From what I've read, if people want to become verified users they have to upload a copy of their ID. I guess that means a lot more capitol insurrectionists are about to have a visit from the FBI.
Sounds preemptive, but I foresee activists exposing all donors to the democracy haters. Others taking or considering donation action: JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup Inc, Walmart Inc.

Psychological operations officer Rainey: ‘I am a private citizen’
North Carolina represent!
... Commanders at Fort Bragg are reviewing Capt Emily Rainey’s involvement in last week’s events in the nation’s capital, but she said she acted within military regulations and that no one in her group broke the law.
About 5 hours from me.
... Rainey said she led 100 members of Moore County Citizens for Freedom, which describes itself online as a non-partisan network promoting conservative values, to Washington to “stand against election fraud” and support Trump....
"100"!
Rainey, 30, is assigned to the 4th Psychological Operations Group at Fort Bragg, according to Maj Daniel Lessard, a spokesman for 1st Special Forces Command. Known as Psyops, the group uses information and misinformation to shape the emotions, decision-making and actions of American adversaries.
Irony.
Rainey made headlines in May after she posted a video online of her pulling down caution tape at a playground that was closed under North Carolina’s Covid-19 restrictions.
Police in Southern Pines, a community about 30 miles (48km) west of Fort Bragg, charged her with injury to personal property over the incident. The police told WRAL-TV that they let her off with warnings twice before after she tore down the tape closing off the playground....
