Epstein list release predictions and followup

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

This conversation seems somewhat picky to me. However, Trump does provide you guys some material.
Yeah, picky and petty. But as I mentioned, little things matter when you're president. It's been that way pretty much forever, which is why most successful politicians (and all real leaders) are careful about their public statements. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the public only looked at actual words in their accurate context, but everybody is looking for "signals" and "messages" and make their own interpretations. Trump just expects everybody to believe it simply because he said it.
There is no question Trump invites this type commentary. He embellishes just about everything he comments on and this provides material for criticism. His supporters have developed a knack for cutting through his rhetoric.

"picky" to expect leaders to instantly and unequivocally refuse to pardon a major child sex trafficker? :wtf: Sounds like SoupySales is as wishy-washy on the issue as his idol, the convicted fraudster and sexual abuser. In defense of TACO DonOLD SoupySales just admitted to being a creep just like him. Ick.

Trump says Epstein "stole" underage victim from Mar a Lago spa

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/29/us/p ... -lago.html
President Trump acknowledged that Jeffrey Epstein recruited one of his victims, Virginia Giuffre, from Mar-a-Lago, and distanced himself from the allegations: “By the way, she had no complaints about us.”

...

Asked whether one of the women was Virginia Giuffre, a known victim of Mr. Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring, Mr. Trump said: “I don’t know. I think she worked at the spa. I think so. I think that was one of the people. He stole her. And by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever.”

...

Mr. Trump’s remarks to reporters on Air Force One elaborated on his claim a day earlier that he had blacklisted Mr. Epstein from Mar-a-Lago because he had hired away some of Mr. Trump’s employees. White House aides had previously said that Mr. Trump barred Mr. Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club “for being a creep.”

Ms. Giuffre, who died by suicide earlier this year, has said that she was groomed to perform sexual services and “passed around like a platter of fruit” to rich and powerful predators in Mr. Epstein’s circle, including Prince Andrew of Britain.

...

Ms. Giuffre was 16 when she was recruited to Mr. Epstein’s sex ring while working as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago in 2000, and said that she was groomed and abused by Mr. Epstein and his associates until she broke contact with him in 2002.

That same year, Mr. Trump praised Mr. Epstein in an interview with New York Magazine.

“Terrific guy,” Mr. Trump said of Mr. Epstein in October 2002. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

You're not explaining anything that we don't already know. We already know that they simply make up whatever they want to believe when parsing the gibberish coming from his mouth. Or as you described it, "cutting through his rhetoric"

Fact Check: Photo allegedly shows Obama and Epstein drinking beers in Southeast Asia. You should have reservations

If ones position is as important as the president of the United States, it's expected that they be competent in communicating their points. This is the minimum expectation of any leader. Unclear, contradictory communication bears no advantage when running any extremely large and complex organization, whether it be a business or a country.

These people are simply stupid if they think otherwise.

I wouldn't call Joe Biden eloquent or well spoken. I personally wasn't a fan of him. And I don't tie myself in knots fanboying over a politician just because they're somewhat closer aligned to my political positions like MAGA currently does.

Since you aren't arguing with my statement, I'll take that as an agreement.

I'm glad you've finally come around to seeing that Trump is a complete fucking moron.

I don't know about Trump's native intelligence. I'd guess he's at least slightly above average, but what we do know is he doesn't read well, has a limited vocabulary for his position, and repeatedly does things that make life harder on himself as well as those he ummm, "represents." And he does the same thing over and over and expects different results. Some have defined that as insanity.

BTW, he may make us miserable politically, but he makes a lot of other people miserable in serious ways IRL - and a lot of those people actually voted for him.

If DonOLD is not a moron the constant deluge of self-serving LIES indicate either severe mental illness (including dementia) or a character so flawed as to be dangerous to decent humanity. If SoupySales insists, so be it.

It never made me "miserabble" to ease or treat physical illness and injury, and it doesn't make me "miserabble" to identify pathologic dysfunction in TACO and his cultists. Rather, it inspires me to take action.
