In Memoriam

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I actually saw him perform live in 1992 in Chicago with my ex wife and her mom.

In 1992, Patrick Stewart directed and starred in the performances of "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" in Chicago, showcasing a blend of theater and symphonic music. This production featured notable cast members from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and marked Stewart's directorial debut.

Directorial Debut — Patrick Stewart made his directorial debut with this production.
Star-Studded Cast — The cast included fellow "Star Trek" actors like Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner.
Unique Format — The play combined elements of modern theater with a live symphony orchestra.
Audience Reception — The performances were well-received, drawing significant attention due to the star power involved.

The Kepler note stands out to me. It launched before I was old enough to follow astronomy, so most of what I know about it comes from reading afterward, not from watching it happen. Finding thousands of worlds from one instrument is hard to picture until you think about how long the data kept being analyzed. On Stan Lee, I get the DC-versus-Marvel split, though the movie side of Marvel clearly reached a wider crowd than the comics did.
