Okay, but what about the 5th time it happens? Lock them up!80 Students ‘Potentially Exposed’ To COVID-19 After Parent Sends Child To School After Testing Positive For The Virus
... “This led to a presumably infectious child attending school two days after being notified of a positive COVID-19 test result. The parent, who also tested positive for COVID-19, also refused to communicate with the school.”
According to CNN, the health district said that it’s not planning to invest its “limited resources” in criminally charging the parent at this time.

Re: COVIDiots
Texas school district finds unique loophole in Gov. Abbott’s ban on mask mandates
The Paris school district found a loophole in Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s executive order preventing mask mandates across the state.
Paris ISD’s board of trustees voted to alter the district’s dress code to include masks, according to its website....
“The Texas Governor does not have the authority to usurp the Board of Trustees’ exclusive power and duty to govern and oversee the management of the public schools of the district,” Paris ISD said in a release posted on its website. “Nothing in the Governor’s Executive Order 38 states he has suspended Chapter 11 of the Texas Education Code, and therefore the Board has elected to amend its dress code consistent with its statutory authority.”
... Abbott announced Tuesday afternoon that he has contracted COVID-19, although he is so far asymptomatic, according to his spokesman.
“The Board of Trustees is concerned about the health and safety of its students and employees,” the Paris ISD release says. “The Board believes the dress code can be used to mitigate communicable health issues, and therefore has amended the PISD dress code to protect our students and employees.”

ICU Doc Shows What 'Anxious and Scared' Gov. Greg Abbott Did After COVID-19 News
ICU doctor and NBC News analyst Vin Gupta is urging Texans to “take note” of the actions of Gov. Greg Abbott (R) after he tested positive for the coronavirus on Tuesday.
Abbott has actively thwarted efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic by banning mask and vaccine mandates....
COVID-19 cases have skyrocketed in Texas in recent weeks, from around 1,000 daily cases reported in early July to over 20,000 cases reported on Monday.
Despite those rising numbers, just 45 percent of the state is fully vaccinated, well below the U.S. average of 51 percent.
Abbott has also undermined efforts to slow the spread of the virus with his ban on mask mandates, and by going to court to uphold that ban.
NBC News reported on Tuesday that Abbott has told friends he has received a third dose of the vaccine.
Abbott’s positive test results came less than 24 hours after he attended a crowded event and posted images online showing him at the largely mask-free gathering.

Op-Ed: As a doctor in a COVID unit, I'm running out of compassion for the unvaccinated. Get the shotAn Alabama doctor is reportedly refusing to treat unvaccinated patients, tells them to get COVID shot because he 'can't watch them die'
... Dr. Jason Valentine, who works at Northside's Diagnostic and Medical Clinic in Saraland, Alabama, shared a photo of himself in a since-deleted Facebook post standing by a sign that read: "Effective Oct. 1, 2021, Dr. Valentine will no longer see patients that are not vaccinated against COVID-19."
"If they asked why, I told them COVID is a miserable way to die and I can't watch them die like that," he wrote in the post, AL.com reported.
If patients still refuse to get the vaccine, Valentine said in a letter to his patients, they should seek care elsewhere. According to AL.com, he posted a copy of the letter online....
"Therefore, as of October 1st, 2021, I will no longer see patients that have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. If you wish to keep me as your physician, documentation of your vaccination will suffice. If you wish to choose another physician, we will be happy to transfer your records," he concluded....
Valentine said on Facebook that since he shared his new policy, three people have reached out to inquire about where they can get a COVID vaccine, according to AL.com,
"No conspiracy theories, no excuses. Just where do they go," he told the news outlet.

Cretins, the microchips are filtered out in the donation process.COVID Skeptics Are Refusing Life-Saving Blood Transfusions from Vaccinated Donors
The nation’s roiling tensions over vaccination against COVID-19 have spilled into an unexpected arena: lifesaving blood transfusions.
With nearly 60% of the eligible U.S. population fully vaccinated, most of the nation’s blood supply is now coming from donors who have been inoculated, experts said. That’s led some patients who are skeptical of the shots to demand transfusions only from the unvaccinated, an option blood centers insist is neither medically sound nor operationally feasible....

Gulf Coast's beloved 'Redneck Riviera' now a virus hotspot
... On maps that show virus “hot spots” in red, this part of the U.S. coast is glowing like a bad sunburn. And a summer of booming tourism that followed the lockdowns and travel restrictions of 2020 is making the turn toward fall with only a few signs of slowing down.
Health officials believe the spike is due to a combination of some of the nation’s lowest vaccination rates, unabated tourism, a disregard for basic health precautions and the region’s carefree lifestyle, all combining at a time when the mutated virus is more contagious than ever and conservative states are balking at new health restrictions....
The revelry came as just 12 miles (19 kilometers) to the north, South Baldwin Regional Medical Center was treating more than three dozen COVID-19 patients, nearly 90% of whom weren’t vaccinated, said spokesperson Taylor Lewis.
“After Memorial Day it was, ‘Everything is back to normal, go to the beach, take off your mask,’” said Dr. Bert Eichold, the chief public health official of Mobile County, just west of Gulf Shores. Mobile County's COVID-19 positivity rate has skyrocketed to nearly 30%, and the county has the most new cases in the state....
At The Dock, a beachfront restaurant that serves cold beer and seafood beside the public beach in Pensacola, Florida, manager Justin Smith said the tourist season has been busy and his staff has managed to stay healthy, at least so far. While more vaccinations could help, Smith said he’d never require his staff to get inoculated.
“I’ve been here 18 years. It ain’t gonna happen,” he said.
Outbreaks caused by the coronavirus are threatening to overwhelm the region’s health care system and traditions. Panama City Beach, Florida, cited the pandemic in canceling an annual country music festival set for early September, and New Orleans has clamped down on mask-wearing and called off multiple events.
While urging people to get vaccinated, state leaders including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey have resisted imposing new restrictions, even as hospital beds fill up. On Monday, officials said 1,560 patients needed intensive care treatment in Alabama, where hospitals have just 1,562 ICU beds.
Hospital executives joined together in Pensacola last week to plead for more vaccinations while also knocking down false rumors about vaccines and masks. In an area dominated by Christian conservatives, Mayor Grover C. Robinson IV made a direct appeal for churchgoers to get shots.
“Two of our hospitals are Christian affiliated,” he said. “One of the first things it says all throughout the Bible is, ‘Do not be afraid.’”
More people are getting initial vaccine doses than a few weeks ago, but it hasn’t been enough so far to stop the spread of COVID-19. Of 11 coastal counties in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida, Okaloosa County in Florida has the region’s highest share of fully vaccinated residents at 41.3%, statistics show. Many are around one-third, and all are below the national average of nearly 51%....

Oh, the surf is up in Florida down

The Online Slang Dictionary:
Travel Codex:
Ocean Reef Resorts:What is the Redneck Riviera?
There’s not actually a standard definition of what makes up the “Redneck Riviera”. The term most commonly applies to the stretch of westernmost Florida Panhandle Gulf Coast. Roughly, that takes you from the Alabama border to Panama City. The stretch of sand also goes by the nicknames “Lower Alabama”, “LA”, and the “Emerald Coast”. However, others extend the term as far west as Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. For simplicity, I’ll define it as the Alabama and Florida Panhandle coasts, from Dauphin Island to Panama City....
Here's the original NYT article cited above:... The term Redneck Riviera is credited to a writer for the New York Times named Howell Raines. In 1978 he wrote a whimsical article entitled: Living it up on the Redneck Riviera, which was about famous rich NFL quarterbacks Richard Todd and Kenny Stabler who had the money to live wherever they wanted to but chose the shores of Lower Alabama (locals call it LA), to become their offseason home. It is somewhat unique to be in a part of the nation that is actually further south than Alabama, but that’s precisely where the Florida Panhandle is and where these sugary shores became known as the Redneck Riviera....
Todd and Stabler Offseason Game: Living It Up on ‘Redneck Riviera’
It does refer to "Lower Alabama", but does not say only "Lower Alabama".

You may be right. Mississippi gulf coast might also use the term except that no one ever vacationed in Mississippi's 6 inch deep dirty river water.
Gulf Shores is usually pretty clean and most tourists claim Orange Beach to be the beginning of the clear water.

Plenty of tourists at the Mississippi gulf coast since all the casinos (floating in the calm 6 inch gulf waters along the coast) moved in. Before the casinos there were a few motel 6 type motels across hwy 98 from the gulf, but that was all.
