2020 Elections

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

 First you crow about a Democrat being a wingnut; now you suggest we write to him. For what purpose? To congratulate him on being a wingnut? YOU should be the one to write to him and tell him how you admire his ignorance and how it's always comforting to know that there are actually others, even a Democrat, that are as stupid as you are. Write him a gushing letter and have your gun by your side while writing it.
I am perfectly happy with corrupt Vernon Jones continuing to represent conservative Democrats and Trumpettes. 1 FAT CAN's 'gotcha' fails spectacularly, again.

Afraid to correspond with your own Dem party member. He said he wasn't going to resign, convince him otherwise. He can stay where he is for all I care.

I'm not sure why I would give a ratzass what a member of the Georgia legislature has to say once s/he's demonstrated such a level of cluenessness. If Jones wants to support Trump, and generally agrees with the positions of Republicans, he should be a Republican. The Republicans would like to have him as another token Black guy like Senator Tom of South Carolina, who they can take out and point to and say "see, we're not racists. We got ourselves a real live Neegro." And they'd give him some committee assignments that sound important, even if they didn't have any real impact. But as a Democratic Trumper in the minority-Dem Georgia legislature, he gets nothing but scorn all around. He'll have nothing of substance to do, won't be able to accomplish anything, will have no voice other than being paraded as some kind of freak of nature, and isn't likely to get re-elected in his 71% Black district. His "I'm a Democrat but supporting Trump" position isn't in his own best interest or that of his constituents. Of course, Trumpers in general do have a habit of voting against their own best interests and trashing themselves on the alter of Trump, so I guess he's in good company.

You're more dense than granite, aren't you? I've said more than once that I am not now, nor have I ever been registered as a member of the Democratic Party. I've also never been a registered member of the Republican Party. Your assertion that I or others here are "afraid" to write to this clown makes no sense. But "makes no sense" is what you do.....all day.....every day. Keep up the good work.

I'm a liberal, either upper case or lower, and have been since way before it was made a dirty word by years of Repug disparagement. And a registered and voting Democrat. I'd happily be in another party if there was one that had or is likely in my lifetime to have any real chance of getting elected to anything or having any impact if it did. But unfortunately, the US is a two-party country, and politics is a team sport. While some offices and government unit work pretty well as non-partisan, once you get out of local politics and local issues, you have to pick a team. But that doesn't mean you have to totally agree with everything you team does, or that you can't try to move your team one way or another on various issues. The reason the Democratic Party held its majority in NC for over a hundred years was because it was itself a fairly big tent. You could be generally conservative or generally liberal and still find something in common. Now, not so much. With parties entrenched in ideology, there isn't much place for standing on the fence. One can actually accomplish more by trying to impact their own party's direction than in trying to affect the other side. And that's how Republican Hogan keeps his job and high approval level in a very Blue state:

Trump needs to 'run very close' for GOP to keep the Senate, Republican consultant warns

... Recent surveys showed Republican senators in Arizona, Colorado, North Carolina, and Maine are vulnerable. If those seats are lost and the other 96 remain steady, Democrats would gain control of the upper chamber. Republicans could gain a seat back in Alabama, the Times notes, though if Biden wins the presidency, the pendulum would again swing back to the Democrats....

Oh, you don’t vote Dem. You’re worse off than them, when has that stopped you from bragging about one of those correspondence with some type of representative.

I generally only send correspondence to those who I feel are particularly stupid or demonstrably fucked up. But never mind that, why do you hate your country and your religion so much? One of the basic principles of America is inclusiveness, acceptance, and tolerance. Those same principles apply equally to Christianity, as well as forgiveness and equality. Yet you never post anything here remotely respective of any of those principles. I guess more simply, why are you such a hypocrite? Most hypocrites don't realize or accept that they are, in fact, hypocrites. Is this what it is wth you? You think of yourself as a member of a tribe; a tribe who does not accept anything not universally acceptable to the tribe. Yet you seem to not recognize that this attitude is diametrically opposed to the fundamental concepts of your country and your religion. Now give us your response to this with some little lulu gibberish. Or not.

No, what do we have in common? I never thought of changing my sex. Oh, you're talking about the ideals of America......yeah, me and Jenner have that in common. Why do you hate America and your own religion? Why are you a clueless hypocrite?

Ohio's GOP Governor Splits From Trump, and Rises in Popularity

You can bet that other Repugs are nervously watching DeWine and MD Gov Hogan's, also GOP, popularity compared to 45SHOLE, and are reconsidering their 2020 strategy.

You seem to be ignorant of the fact that Caitlyn Jenner is a long time conservative Republican. Or maybe you're just in denial.
How long has he been a she? Doesn't he/she live in California?
God before country. Bruce forgot that, Caitlyn doesn't care.

But why do you hate your god and your country? My sister was never my teacher; is that what happened to you? Is that what made you come to hate your country and become confused about your religion? Don't get excited; you can still recover. You know what to do.

He doesn't seem to have a clue about Christianity. I wonder if he has ever studied the Beatitudes. He damn sure doesn't show it.

Social distancing yourself from your sister’s views, while accepting Caitlyn types views. Still, she tries. Table talk.

We all know that you will only respond with mindless drivel to the questions but I am going to continue to ask them anyway. Why do you hate your country and your religion? Were you lying when you recited the Pledge of Allegiance in school all those years ago? If you recall, the last few words in that pledge are ".....with liberty and justice for all." It doesn't say "liberty and justice for some" but specifically says "all" which includes Jenner and others who have chosen to go the route of gender reassignment. I have no plan to pursue medical changes in order to become a female and certainly will not take matters into my own hands in that endeavor by cutting off my dick. But I don't hate Jenner for cutting off his dick. Why do you hate Jenner, your country, and your religion? There must be a reason.

Poor 1 CAT FAN, so oppressed by his Christian church that s/he doesn't have the spine to openly discuss her/his trans obsession there. So, the coward resorts to anonymous fora where s/he can fantasize for page after page about Jenner and other trans people, nttawwt.
