Junction Butte Wolf Pack Surrounds Grizzly Bear in Yellowstone National Park (December 29, 2019)

... This was a incredible sight to witness as most bears should be in hibernation during this time (December 29th). Grizzlies take over wolf kills 80% of the time in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Junction Butte Wolf Pack originally took down an elk. When they came back to the carcass they were surprised to find a grizzly bear had stolen it. Eventually, the wolves moved on leaving the bear alone with their kill....

Elk falls off waterfall to her death at my feet!!!

You know where I live, hominy. I don't know about those killer roosters, but I figure we can give them a run for their money. Especially when I pull out a couple of heat crazed Gila monster lizards to turn loose on those chicken little poseurs. I don't care if they do have razor spurs on their legs. They'll hustle off once the Gila monsters get moving.

Not to worry. Lots of woods and undeveloped land around here. Many places where leaves have lounged for years. All we have to do is gather them up into a pile and wait. I figure the heat from our bodies will accelerate the process. And I mean to get down to it in a big way this time.....submerge myself into the pile and stay there as long as i can stand it. Only the top of my head will be visible. I'll scare hell out of the deer if they try to come huff our stuff. Might even wear my bear suit.

Oh, Gila monsters are immune to nitrous. They will protect us. Or kill us.

From memory
1 guy had the artery in his groin cut and blead to death.

They said the guy with the hand injury had multiple cuts and a main nerve(?) in his hand cut. He also died of blood loss by the time he got to a hospital.

Yes, a sliced femoral artery can be fatal, and really difficult to provide first aid for. It's basically rapid surgery or funeral planning.
