If the Colts upset New England, I'll go with the Colts in the Super Bowl.
If the Pats win, I'll go with the NFC team, whichever one it is. Seattle
and Green Bay are meh teams to me, but that is still better than
the Pats.

Yeah, I'll go with the Colts, too if it turns out that way. All I can say is it's pretty hard being a Raiders fan these last forty years or so. :problem:

What a comeback. One of the best playoff games I have seen.

I usually went for the Raiders back in the day when they were
a good team, but it's been a while. If they ever start to play
well again, I'll go for them, but I'm not holding my breath.

16 down. I think they said biggest comeback ever in an NFC championship with the previous being 15.

Early Vegas says pick 'em or Pats by 1 and Richard Sherman says it’s “100 percent” he’ll play in Super Bowl, might be a good game.
Rodgers' previous career record was 40-1 when leading by 16. Now it's 40-2. Opps.

You'd think it might be more. 16 points doesn't sound that bad. I just hope the
Seahawks don't wait around until the fourth quarter in the Super Bowl to get
their act together. Miracle comebacks are pretty rare. I watched the Pats
Colts game until NE went up 24-7 and then changed the channel. I figured
this would be one of those NE blowouts and it was. No sense wasting time. :violent:

All this deflated football business could have been avoided if the NFL is in charge of the balls. After all, the balls don't have team names on them; they say "NFL" on them. I actually can't believe the officials haven't been in charge of this all along. Seems like a trivial oversight has become a scandal that never should have been. My balls are generally deflated, but they don't say NFL on them; I'm in charge.

I wonder if a football filled with helium would be easier to throw for longer and higher distance and if it would make funny noises. And also would it remain on the tee for the kicker or would it start to drift up in the air?

 No way will I try helium in my deflated balls; they'd never stay down where they belong.

Deep down, I would love to see the Seahawks totally destroy the Pats, like they
did last year against the Broncos. I know that's unlikely to happen and wouldn't
make for a very interesting game, but still.....See where Sherman said nothing
much would happen in deflategate since Kraft and Goodell are such buddies?
Good one.

Pro teams are experts at getting the taxpayers to pony up for things that mostly
benefit the team owners. They've been playing them for suckers for years. They
ain't going to stop now.

Yep...good thing there's Google. Now that you got it back, you can obsesses and fantasize about Brady's balls anytime you feel a need for physical release. Did you order yourself a life-size wall poster for your bedroom?

I hate to tell to this and bust your fantasy bubble, but Brady was talking about.....ready for this..? footballs.. :crybaby:

The Daily News, still a classy publication. Almost as classy as the New York Post.
And Seattle will be trying to bust his balls, footballs that is. Time for talk is over,
almost time to play. Five hours of pre-game. Yuck. I never turn it on until the
opening kick-off is scheduled. Go Seahawks.

They almost did go.......something akin to horse shoes and hand-grenades comes to mind. Great ending! (not the brawl)
Good to have you back BB, aka Vox.

Dozed off, missed the third quarter & part of the fourth. Woke to 24-21 in favor of Seattle. Good going from there!

Must suck to get tossed out of a game with less than 30 seconds remaining!

Worst! Call! Everrrrr!
A yard away from two consecutive SB's; three downs to get it in. Best running back in the league who lives up to his "Beast Mode" name. Is there anybody anywhere from backyard to Pop Warner to any other NFL team that wouldn't call in the largest line guys you had and give the ball to the Beast? Of course the Pats "were in a goal line formation." It's the goal line, fool! Arrrrrrrgh!

Also, neither team had decent air support.

Oh, it's a thin line between the "Best" and "Worst" call ever. Mostly luck.

That's all well and good, but you have to consider the context. Bad throws, missed catches, penalties, bad calls that happen in the first half might be overcome. Even good luck that occurs from them might be lost. Maybe with only one down and everybody in the universe expecting Beast, maybe throwing it would make sense. But is there anybody that doesn't think given three tries, the Beast is going to get in with less than a minute to go in the effin' Super Bowl?
