The Global Warming thread.

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Atlanta's reigning Nitwit King steps out onto the balcony overlooking the Piazza della Stupidità. Resplendent in his Cloak of Concoctions, Bullshit Proof Hip Boots and Peril Sensitive Sunglasses he addresses the confluence of lesser nitwits. Raising high the Orb of Obfuscation the Nitwit King says. .. .. .

The lesser nitwits crowded below cheer and raise their Kool-Air filled tankards in salute each not bothering to check to see if the same sun that shines so weakly on the Kingdom of Alternate Reality is the same sun that's currently bringing record setting heat to Australia..

The Nitwit King retires to his chamber satisfied with the knowledge that his kingdom is again safe from facts..

There’s already a multitude of reasons for why you're so well known as a leaky colostomy bag but I suppose even you sociopaths strive to add a few more notches to your crutch..

But what is interesting to see is that when you're reaching so far to warp a comment into one of your beloved bête noirs that you go with material in which you are so well versed.. e.g. fantaѕies about gay ѕex, disjointed nitwitticisms and bigoted onomatopoeing ..

Carry on.. .. . .

Looks like we're supposed to be getting some ice. Here's hoping my place of employment loses power, but not my house!

Power to the people. I'm fortunate in that even with no power, I still have a heat source and also hot water. I like to take really hot showers in the dark just to find out if you can see the steam even in the dark; you can.

Day 2: Snow is still falling. Food is running low. Thinking about roasting my small dog in the crock pot just in case. Godspeed.

I have to work from home..... so if the power goes out here at least I don't have to work, but.... not going to be doing anything else either. -0-?

If the power goes out, sounds like the perfect opportunity to go sledding.

Did last week's winter storm drop a freaking glacier on Greensboro NC or something?

No, because that would just make too much sense.

With all the strange weather all over the world, I wonder what people's opinions would be if, instead of saying "Global Warming", the phraseology
would simply have been "Global Climate Change"....? :-0?>

Depends. If Al Gore had discussed it and Obama believed it, some (and you know who they are) would still deny it.

Global warming starts tomorrow; will be in the 60's here.....probably be about 85 or so by the 27th, but don't get too excited because there will also be another foot of snow delivered around the latter part of next month. In addition, two more volcanoes will erupt before the year is over, with shocking consequences....oh, I'm losing the signal.............
