It probably depends on the population selected.

Namely, entire population, vs. just adults (like 16 and up). Since kids still have not been approved for most vaccines (I think), the percent vaccinated of the entire population will be lower than the percent vaccinated of the adult population. My assumption and hope is that the 75% or 80% needed for herd immunity is based on the adult population.

OTOH, I've heard a number of parents in the past complain that whatever colds (a coronavirus too) they get came home from school with their younger kids. No, I haven't seen any science on that.
