trump Took All Sorts of Documents?

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Children, once upon a time long ago there was a war on education.

With a long history even preceding the formation of the US. One of the best ways to assure that a given group (e.g. slaves, women) are kept down. Right-wingers know that if a person is educated (thinking, not just memorizing propaganda) that they aren't likely to vote for other right-wingers. What's scary is how prevalent the de-education effort is in 2023. And how the majority of us let it happen.

If you consider how many people are even tolerant of Trump's antics, consider the right wing moon-barkers they elect to legislatures and Congress, it seems apparent that we have already lived through the best of times for democracy and liberal thought. The pendulum is swinging, and it's not stopping any time soon. At least not in our lifetimes. It's good to be old.

Why do I think the people most happy about this are trump's attorneys?

Trump has buried himself very nicely with his Bret Baier interview.

So much for the gag order. :laughing-rolling:

Thx Bret!

Too many articles to quote, but holy shit!

I guess more of the Bret Baier interview airs today, 6 pm EDT I think. I won't watch it, but I'll look forward to the reporting on it.

Pretty low bar (once upon a time)
Wikipedia
"The Spirit of '76 (1917) was a controversial silent film that depicted both factual and fictional events during the American Revolutionary War. The film was directed by Frank Montgomery and produced and written by Robert Goldstein. Goldstein would later go to Federal prison for violating the Espionage Act, because of scenes depicted in the film. No prints of the movie have been known to survive, and it is categorized as a lost film."

Video: Freudian slip? Democratic lawmaker has to correct herself after saying Trump 'needs to be SHOT' - instead of 'stopped' - in MSNBC interview on his Mar-a-Lago indictment

Democratic Delegate Stacey Plaskett quickly corrected herself after saying on MSNBC Sunday that former President Donald Trump 'needs to be shot.'
:o
Stacey Elizabeth Plaskett (/ˈplæskɪt/; born May 13, 1966) is an American politician, attorney, and commentator. She is a non-voting delegate to the United States House of Representatives from the United States Virgin Islands' (USVI) at-large congressional district, since 2015. Plaskett has practiced law in New York City, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

... She served as a House manager during the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump, the first non-voting member of the House of Representatives to do so....

Hm, made me look. Then came the subtitle:

The special prosecutor is a professional doing his job — and that is exactly why Trump fears him

The fact that he is well qualified and competent and playing his trade in the public sector when he could be taking in far more in the private sector gives him a little hero status.
