Can't make this (stuff) up

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Scroll down and watch one or more of the short videos.
I don't know what to say
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”

Who said,
“The Continental Army suffered a bitter winter of Valley Forge, found glory across the waters of the Delaware, and seized victory from Cornwallis of Yorktown. It took over the airports, it did everything it had to do.”

Back in 1492, Abraham Lincoln and the rough riders sailed across the Missisppi and stormed the Alamo, defeating the British. Fireworks burst forth from the sky, the heavens opened up, and Jesus descended with a bald eagle in one hand and the Constitution in the other to give his blessings to America. All present shed tears of red, white, and blue and recited the pledge of allegiance in unison (while not kneeling). A new nation was born.

You left out the part about the first and only hurricane/tornado (or it could have been a Sharknado) that God sent to destroy the British terrorists.

We should also give a shout out to those terrorist Native Americans that took us nearly 150 years to massacre or subdue. Hell, if it weren't for good old Andy Jackson and two SEAL teams those savages would have likely killed more good Americans.

I've known and worked with some decent, talented middle manager types. But there's a point just above that where rank fucking stupidity is the rule rather than the exception. I truly, wholeheartedly believe that any moron off the street can do as credible job as a CEO as most of the shithead captains of industry we have out there, today. Dilbert was right: only the most dispensable and expendable assholes rise to those levels, because if they were worth a shit, they would be needed too badly where they were, and missed terribly when they got promoted. I have literally seen this in action.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

I've seen it, too. It's tragic and comic all at the same time for a while; then it just gets to be fucking stupid in a way that makes your head hurt.

Here's a good one; cops find uranium, whiskey, and rattlesnake during traffic stop. Oklahoma weirdness.

And it wasn't Talibama. But I'm sure some goober down in Cornbread County has seen this and asked someone to hold his beer.

I get that it's not radical to oppose the founder of the KKK, but I wonder why Teddy went out of his way to dis a fellow Repug in doing so.

I will guess it's due to subliminal guilt about not standing up to trumpian lunacy for the past couple of years. Or maybe Ted is just jealous and wishes he looked more like a prototype Republican like Bill Lee instead of the grotesque fish monster he favors.
