In the story the link sends you to it's stated by a witness that the guy was stopped behind the witness vehicle at a stop light and that the protesters were crossing the street with the green walk signal when the guy behind the witness suddenly swerved around their vehicle and then slowly drove into and over the protesters who were crossing the street. I fail to see how this is not an intentional criminal act. It sure would be if it had been a black guy driving into and over a group of TN county commissioners.
