Haven't watched much this season, tonight was probably the first full show.

Not sure there's a clear favorite this year. Simone Biles is great, but doesn't quite have Laurie Hernandez' infectious personality.

Eliminated last week, just missed the finals.

I'm rooting for Mr. T. I pity the foo' that is competing against him.

A hot, 30 year old, former main cast member on a very popular TV show and professional dancer in an amateur dance competition paired with a very successful partner - maybe there is a favorite.

Eliminated 5th. I saw some online grumbling about her being a pro. I wonder if that worked against her.

He made the finals! Probably the underdog, but he could win. IMO, which syncs with the judges, all of the 6 dances were brilliant tonight except for his first one, which was just very, very good.

I would vote for Rashaad, but if Normeini won I'd have no problem. David has been entertaining and has done well, made progress and all that, but his dancing isn't up to the other two. But there are a lot of Cubs fans and even the War Eagle and Gator crowds. If Ross wins, he might be the first to be clearly inferior in judges scores and win solely on votes.

That freestyle was the best of the night, IMO, but David Ross really stepped up from his first dance - way fun.

Not sure on AGT. She has 2 Guinness World Records:

I think she's great, but can't imagine going to a full limbo show in LV. I don't expect her to win, but she may try for a new world record at some point.

I'd be interested in the light side of the ugly-ass plastic shoes, too , but figured this was about the reptiles. Turns out that it was as much about hippos as it was crocodiles , never really elaborated on the "Dark Side" theme, was often repetitious, and just wasn't all that well made for a wildlife show.

Crocodiles are just being crocodiles; they are what nature and evolution have made them. Crocs- the ugly-ass hoofshoes, OTOH, have no light side, that I can see. They may be even uglier than Birkenstocks.
