and that made me think about this

Re: Can't make this (stuff) up
I've often wondered if anyone has checked into how much money Dickhead made from the Iraq invasion and occupation; after all, he was the former CEO of Halliburton and KBR, a subsidiary, did a shit load of contract work over there. I still believe this bastard should be prosecuted, tarred, feathered, and fucked and run out on a rail.billy.pilgrim wrote:but the real kicker

Yes, I know. And I didn't intend to intimate that it "was" offensive, just that it was a fine example of something offensive.....semantics. A military offensive is only "offensive" to the folks on the wrong end of it. An "offense" can be a violation of a law, or it can be a sports or military strategy; your post presents a military offensive, which was only "offensive" to the Nazis and their partisans. Sorry for the confusion. English isn't like Chinese where there's thousands of symbols for specific words.rstrong wrote:I never said that it was offensive.neoplacebo wrote:That's probably the best illustration of something offensive I've ever seen.

Yes. I think you should have put Jonestown in there somewhere since it was "offensive" on more than one level.

I always thought Cheney would be perfect for the role of "The Penguin" in the Batman movie.billy.pilgrim wrote:but the more I think about it

didn't know that
I was referring to all those who resend emails from great aaamerican heroes who supposedly proclaim this when they go to D-day events and are supposedly outraged that they are asked for visas, unlike when they personally saved France (3 years late) from the Germans

Oh, yeah. Got lots of older in-law relatives who fire that stuff off on a regular basis.billy.pilgrim wrote:Boatrocker wrote:I'm going in October; you don't need a visa, now.billy.pilgrim wrote:some are still claiming (while they guard our southern border snacking on freedom fries) they didn't need no gd visa they last time they visited FranceVrede wrote:Sheesh, American tourists!

Any cartoon villain would be impressed with how, after accidently shooting a friend in the face with a shotgun, he got the friend to apologize for it on TV.billy.pilgrim wrote:dick cheney is just palin and simple offensive to humanity

If Cheney had a droopy mustache, he could be Yosemite Sam. I didn't mention Dick having a cowboy hat since he already has one, but that still looks fitting.Vrede wrote:neoplacebo wrote:If Cheney had a droopy mustache, he could be Yosemite Sam. "I'm gonna blast ya."
