COVIDiots

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I'm not sure if it's the same jurisdiction, but somewhere folks can be fined $2K if busted.

Groom dies and more than 110 guests contract coronavirus after wedding in eastern India

Do the guests get their gifts back?

Mere hours later he was hospitalized for CV-19.

So apparently they're going to drive back to NY or wherever they live, eh? 25 driving hours at 65mph, probably 3 days of breathing her air. Let's hope for the worst.

'Costco Karen' Goes Viral After She Throws Temper Tantrum From Being Asked to Wear Face Mas

... A video of the incident shows the woman throwing a 3-year-old style temper tantrum before plopping on the ground in dissent. “I just need you to put that on for now while you’re in the building. That’s all,” an employee is heard telling the woman, referring to the face mask already dangling from her ear. “Just temporarily while you’re in here, and then you can take it right back off.”

“I will not,” the woman responds to the Costco employee, before going on to say the mask requirement is “your problem.” ...

“Can I get you a chair? Outside? There’s a place to sit,” the employee asks.

“I am an American,” she responds. “I have constitutional rights.”

Ah yes, the constitutional right to ignore rules enforced by a private company on private property. While the term “Karen” has received some valid criticism for its use as a euphemism in place of specifically calling out white supremacists, in cases like these, it allows patrons to continue exposing the shameful entitlement of white women.
Perhaps it's a lapse in my professional education, but I am unaware of any "medical condition" where the smart option is to sit on the floor of a Costco. She gives "sit-in" a bad name.

Comments:
What lovely employees. So patient and kind. Kudos to them.
anti-maskers put the dumb in freedom
I wonder if she feels stupid yet. I live near that Costco and all of our local news stations have shown this over and over.
Occupy Costco.

The very definition of Covidiot.

Coronavirus: Brazil's President Bolsonaro tests positive
Not just positive, he's 65 years old and pretty sick. Opps.

I still think that our own POTUS could be decided by CV-19 as easily as by the voters.

I don't begrudge them, they need the luck as much as we do.
