He ingested a 1 centimeter long bristle. Evidently he doesn't employ the best grill cleaning methods. Hasn't being careful to remove bristles been a thing with people who grill for a long time. I know it has at my house.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 12:13 pmBest country with the best healthcare in the world!O Really wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 11:57 am"Oh, but ain't that America for you and me?GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 11:50 amI'm not sure which is scarier, the ingestion of the bristle or the shitty healthcare a doctor received.Vrede too wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 10:38 amSomething else:

neo tip: if you suspect you've eaten steel bristles from a wire brush, follow up those bristles with a small round rare earth magnet (about the size of an aspirin) and just wait for the magic to happen.

Alternative: Drink a cup of bleach. It makes metal rust faster, then just wait for the magic to happen.
The real reason food prices are high:

Article
... According to Feeding America, an organization aiming to provide “equitable access to nutritious food for all,” corporate food waste accounts for 61% of all food waste in the United States. They claim that “commercial food waste makes up about 61% of all food waste or 66 billion pounds of food waste.” In total, 119 billion pounds of food is wasted in the United States each year....

Re: The Food Thread
I was going to say capitalism in action since I have suspicion that the value of that stuff (plus maybe the transportation costs to get it there where it was thrown away, as well as the labor cost to unload and stock and then collect for disposal, along with the cost of the electricity and water and overhead to keep that stuff safe until it's thrown out) will be deducted from any tax Wal Mart pays and may possibly contribute to any tax refund they get from the IRS. Why would Republicans want to get rid of the IRS? Doesn't make sense.

Record size opah fish.
Can't get it everywhere, or all the time, but we get it at our fishmonger occasionally. Buy some everytime you get a chance, it's delicious.

At home I use the medium thick (Original) BOBOLI crust and add pesto, feta and whichever meats and veggies on a whim. Oddly, pesto is not mentioned once in this "comprehensive" article

Bad pizza is like bad sex.
Even when it's bad it's pretty good....
.....(though some are better than others).
Speaking of food, this looks like a much better party than Applefest.
