Why does the who's online page show "google adsense" viewing moderator control panel?

They're responsible for all those idiotic ads that pop up on the right side of the screen. I have paid AdBlock, I don't see them.

Now, here's a kicker. My friend rocky.broad, at my behest, signed in to see what was going on. After the spay/neuter uproarvin 2007/2008, she left and turned her attention to Raleigh. It's the only time she's signed in since the forum change. She didn't post anything. All of a sudden she got kicked off says her user name is banned.

When she tried to contact the admin, it bounced.

My brother, a former editor at the T-N said being banned is badge of honor. Be proud.

Interesting. When I saw the Administrator was online, i impulsively decided to write and ask him to remove my posts. When I tried to log in under k9nanny to get to the contact info, this came up:

No IP ban, no permanent ban. A fluke? We'll see.

Just register under a different name with a fake email address. It's usually progressive punishment.

I copied & pasted my post in the now deleted thread "I'm Tired of It All" and sent it to the Administrator
stating I wanted him to see the post and my comments directed to him before Moderator deleted it.

It just hasn't been the same without you. But I have gotten a lot more work done.

I had those two fake ID's. One got banned for a month for quoting Thorn and questioning why the mod didn't spank Thorn for saying those words.. The other got banned until December 2013 for quoting Thorn while substituting euphemisms for Thorn's words and questioning why the mod didn't spank Thorn. Then my Stinger ID got the permanent ban by IP address. That was about 10:00 p.m., so the mod was online then.

I opted not to do the proxy server because I didn't want to give them any reason to shut the forum down. There's really no reason for a newspaper to have them. They have to pay someone to moderate the forums, and they can get into legal entanglements depending on what's posted. Most of the papers in the old New York Times Regional Group abandoned the forums before they were sold to Halifax.

Someone please start a forum where I can call Thorn and Butt Ugly names.

We suspect that the administrator and his moderating sidekick visit here. Reckon that's why all Banni's posts disappeared, as he had the link to this site in his sig.
