Can't make this (stuff) up

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Alright fess up which one of you dudes was rocking the mullet like that dude back in the 80s or 90s?
I would never admit to something like that.

Translation: Yes, me. :P

Fine hair, I managed a barely there ponytail in my late teens, but never could grow enough hair for a mullet even if I'd wanted one.

There was a time I had hair to my shoulders, but never a mullet.

Back in the day my hair was actually pretty thick, wore it longish but never rocked the mullet.

Nah, I've always thought mullets were kinda stupid looking.

So they sort of fit Mr. Powers.

I had a mullet as a kid. It matched my dad's mullet. His mullet was really bad too. The mullet hairs fell down in little curly Q's.

I never really understood why a fanny pack was ever a style/fashion item instead of just being as timeless as a backpack or handbag. They're very functional, and a lot are not even ugly. Maybe it's the dumb name that doomed them.

I'm all for fanny packs. They make so much sense. Honestly messenger bags/man purses or whatever they're called make tons of sense too. I don't get the hate.

Beards took a COVID hit. I shaved mine off until vaccinated, may do so again depending on vulnerability.

I wore one every day at work for my entire career. Not much room in scrub pockets. Some folks wore cargo pants, but I never got into them.

Knew guys that grew covid beards, no one that sheared them.

Never pictured you as bearded.

I sort of view my full beard as an extra filter.

It's laziness more than a style choice at my age.

Beards reduce the effectiveness of many masks, but maybe few men cared about that.

I could care less about Vrede's gender, especially since he/she/it seems intent on making it a topic of discussion.

But it sounds a bit like a skinny effeminate homosexual who likes to tease the unwary.

And yes, there IS something wrong with that.

And please stop batting your eyelashes like that.

Ummm, YOU just brought up my theoretical gender, moron. Your whiny lies when busted are pitiful. Grow a pair and own your poor choices.

Yeah, we all know about your homophobic and misogynist bigotry already. Must be your own insecurities, sad.

Back in high school in SF in the late 60's, one of our classmates was a tall, skinny dude of color who, as the year progressed, dressed increasingly more feminine. Remember, this was the 60's. We'd all look a bit askance at this guy as he flounced through the halls, twirling his pastel colored sheer scarfs. LOL. It was especially enertaining when he used to call out my Russian heritage friend Sergei, as "Sir GAY!", which never failed to make us laugh (and Sergei a bit embarrassed).

So please no lectures about genders and such. I've seen it all. You just be you and stay away from me!

You just expressed your homophobic and misogynist bigotry, as we can all scroll up and see and as you've done many times before. Your desperate backtracking cower is laughable and pathetic.
