It's ridiculous to give up masks until/unless you've got 95% or so vaxxed.
Try telling that to the current dem governors.
But no worries, they'll be back in March.
It actually amazes me that people are so anxious to get rid of masking. Do I hate it? Of course, but I'm willing to put up with it to be safe and possibly get ahead of this thing.
That's not done by freeing the face when the numbers are trending in the right direction. We know how that movie ends.
Although the vast majority of the excess deaths are due to the virus, the CDC mortality records also expose swollen numbers of deaths from heart disease, hypertension, dementia and other ailments across two years of pandemic misery.

... “This marks the transition to a new era for all of us, because Denmark will once again be an open society, completely open,” said Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. “We dare to believe that we are now through the critical phase."
Since then, however, Denmark has continued to record more COVID-19 cases per capita than nearly anywhere else in the world, and both COVID hospitalizations and deaths have shot up by about a third.
“Not looking good in Denmark,” Dr. Eric Topol, founder and director of the Scripps Translational Institute, tweeted Sunday, sharing several charts that terminated in near-vertical upward lines. “Deaths are now 67% of peak, with a steep ascent.” ...

The home test I took last week was from a set I bought from Costco. Each test cost about $9. It came out negative.
Monday I got another four tests for free from Kaiser. I took one of the free tests yesterday. Again, negative.
The tests are from different mfgs with slightly different procedures and parts. The "free" tests start to expire in June, so I will be using those if I test again. The short shelf life might explain why they were free, perhaps. I might also give away to a neighbor or neighbors those that I don't plan on using. The $9 tests don't expire until 2023.
Yes, but I've seen at least one sci article/opine from someone who might know, that we've seen the probable end of people dying like flies at a Republican picnic from covid. In other words, the variants have adapted and want to live longer, by not killing off their hosts so quickly.
Of course a virus has no brain or wants; it's just evolution on a viral scale.
Awww. , Useless. So much for "Ignored". You fail again. Plus, Useless, you've been busted too many times for anyone to believe you're not reading my posts, anyhow. It's just your excuse for cowering. Awww.

Did you check out that article because of the Dilbert cartoon? Did you stop when you seized on that particular article? And what the fuck does this have to do with cowbell?

2) Is Vladdie rubbing off on you?
3) I saw that article long before O Really posted that Dilbert cartoon.

1. Thanks.
2. No.
3. Do you want a fucking medal? What's your point?
4. Did you stop your "research" when you saw that article?
5. You did. You nonsensically posted "what does that have to do with cowbell?"
6. Why are you still here?

Neo was the one to introduce the term "cowbell" into this thread. See bolded text above. I only went back five pages, after all. Not gonna waste any more time on hominy.

1. You introduced cowbell into another thread that had no relation to a cowbell. I was just mocking your irrelevance in this thread.
2. If you only went back five pages, that's a new minimalist record. Generally, you go back years to find something stupid to post about.
3. You are not hominy. You will never be hominy. Hominy don't play with you.
Back up your false accusation with a LINK to me introducing the term "cowbell" into ANY thread here on BRD (other than in reply to your introduction of the term "cowbell").

Very well. Your wait is over. On page 43 of the "what are you all doing for investing in this crisis" in the next to last post on that page you posted "yes, but what does that have to do with cowbell" as your reply to another post which had nothing to do with cowbell. Thus, YOU brought up cowbell there for no apparent reason.

I guess this is as good a time as any......for the past twenty some years I've been writing about the stock market under more than two dozen aliases. "Lindsey Bell" is just one of them. And I typically alternate between pie in the sky comment and doom and gloom comment just to keep things moving along.
Yes, but what does any of that have to do with cow bells?
However I am reminded of a great SNL skit with somebody demanding more cowbell for a cover of "Fear the Reaper". It features the great Christopher Walken as the cowbell afficionado. May that's why someone posted an image of that?
In other news, after taking a sharp dive into the ocean yesterday, the sun rose from an easterly direction today and is expected to rise to yesterday's high by mid-day. Following trends of the past several days, analysts predict it will again drop sharply by end of day, to close darkly after colorful activity at closing.
Take a bow!
Those people don't have any cowbell. You have to close with a cowbell. More cowbell.
