This sounds real, unlike the hundred other rock and roll band retirements that never seemed to stick.
The first time I saw them they sucked. 1978 or so in Lakeland Florida, probably in the middle of their Toxic Twins days. The band wasn't tight at all, they played maybe two chords of Dream On and said fuck it and moved onto something else. Train Kept a Rolling was unrecognizable.
The opening band was promoting their debut album. They rocked.
The Cars.
Saw Aerosmith two or three times in the 80's and 90's, great shows.
Yeah, "tacky" Taylor. Like two other things she did at the game: (1)Snuck into the game in disguise through a regular gate to avoid creating a big distraction. Would most huge stars do that? (2) Helped bus the tables in the suite, clearing cups and food plates. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever for doing that except for being a nice person. They've got servers up there that get paid to keep people in food and drinks and clear tables. Nobody who's paid thousands to be in the suite is expected to help, and nobody would have thought it amiss if she had just left it.

(1) Denied her fans the opportunity to scream, swoon and get selfies and autographs.
(2) Sad excuse for not tipping the servers.
Tacky, TayTay, tacky
So there's a young mother loading her kids into her soccer mobile, one was an infant and the other probably 2ish. As she started to leave I could hear her through the open window as "ok what would you like to hear? Wiggles? Taylor Swift? Two year old goes " Tay Tay! "

Gotta be careful what you ask for. It goes like this: Weather chick says we're getting a super blue moon. Lady O sung a few bars of the original smooth version of the song. I unfortunately thought of the doo-wop version and got it stuck as an earwig. Often, you can get rid of an earwig by actually playing the song through. So I asked for and listened to the bop-bop-dooty-bop-bob version and popping up beside it was the "Bristol Stomp." Obviously I thought immediately of neoplacebo. But I played it. God knows what algo will send me next.

Good lord, it gets worse. I may have mentioned that I lived in suburban Philadelphia back when American Bandstand was a majorly big thing. I was too young to go, but I, along with my friends, found it a "must see" in the afternoons after school. We knew names of regulars, joined in on rating songs "it's got a beat and you can dance to it," copied the older kids dancing, probably along with their bored looks and certainly with some semblance of the oily hair do. It's a good think I was too young to go, or I'd probably still be bouncing around 60 years later getting mocked on the internet. Like these:
