Raccoon goes on drunken rampage in Virginia liquor store and passes out on bathroom floor
An employee at a Ashland-area liquor store found the trash panda passed out on the bathroom floor at the end of his drunken escapade.
... The Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter commended Martin for handling the break-in, and confirmed the raccoon had sobered up.

... A rescue team was dispatched to the location to assist the intoxicated primate, which eventually came to and stumbled away nursing what must have been the mother of all hangovers.
... Another person jokingly asked, "How did you get this footage of me?!."
"Perhaps it's been drinking Monkey Shoulder," one commenter suggested, referencing the popular whiskey brand.
Some users rallied to the monkey's defense, suggesting it had probably endured a tough day and "just wanted a break. Leave him be bro."
This isn't the first time a primate has been caught on a bender.
In 2023, a notoriously aggressive drunk monkey in Nepal attacked 4,000 people over three months after drinking with locals.
The aggressive primate reportedly had a habit of wandering into local stores and drinking alcohol alongside residents, but would turn violent and attack children after consuming too much....
