Week 5 (February 4)
Asked myself if I was being masochistic after the last 2 weeks of disappointment. Instead, this was a great show throughout like Week 2. If you look up individual acts on YT or watch the rerun on Sun. night, you won't be sorry.
Solo singers, not my thing but they do it very well:
Jackie Evancho - like an angel, AGT runner up at 10, now 18.
Sal Valentinetti - old style crooner.
Colin Cloud - mentalist, great trick.
Lost Voice Guy - unable to speak due to CP, standup comic with a recorded shtick that he makes gestures to. Sounds awful, but is hilarious. He won Britain's Got Talent in 2018!
Kseniya Simonova - rapid sand artist, amazing, won Ukraine's Got Talent, Terry Crews' Golden Buzzer, I'm glad she advanced.
Sons of Serendip - classical crossover ensemble with a singer, not my thing but they do it very well, took 3rd, eliminated.
Attraction - Hungarian shadow theatre group, incredible, won Britain's Got Talent in 2013, took 2nd, wished they'd advanced.

I watched Shin Lim. Didn't see the others, but Shin Limited (per spell check) was amazing.
If the rest are like him, I may have to start watching.
But last night was the last show.

Shin Lim - close-up magician,

:!: WINNER! Good eye, you didn't need to watch the rest of the season, billy.pilgrim.
I wanted to not root for him since he's already had so much AGT success this year, but he was astounding again. He won the night, advances.
Finals performances next week. The 3 acts I like based on prelims, in descending order:
Deadly Games - danger act, knives, crossbow, etc., wouldn't bet on them.
Shin Lim - might bet on him, but tough competition and maybe folks will want someone new.
Kseniya Simonova - wouldn't bet on her.
Some sort of "surprise". Maybe 1 or more judges wild cards added?
Results a week later. That might mean that all get to vote rather than just the "super fans", but idk.
