I once went to an outdoor concert in Johnson CIty, TN that may or may not have been at the ETSU amphitheater....it was an amphitheater, though. The concert was Goose Creek Symphony and this was in probably late 1969 or sometime in 1970....summertime, and the living was easy, fish were jumping, and the cotton was high, but never mind that.....those of us at the concert had several bottles of Boones Farm Strawberry Hill wine with a little bit of mescaline added for good measure....these bottles were passed all around and even toward the end of the concert, passed around among the band members. Needless to say, a good time was had by all. This event remains, some thirty five years later, one of the more vivid memories I have. I think it's why I am liberal.

did you ever go to a union grove fiddlers convention - I went from 69 through 73
my current avatar is the poster from the 69 Atlanta pop festival - janis, led leppelin, cocker, creedence, and many more
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
No, don't know about that one; there used to be, and I think there still is, a fiddlers convention each year in Galax, Virginia which isn't too far from where I grew up in TN. Used to go to Down Home, a bluegrass live venue in Johnson City back in the 70's.
It makes sense that gay marriage and marijuana were legalized in Washington State on the same day. Leviticus 20:13 tells us, "If a man lays with another man he should be stoned." We were just interpreting it wrong.

Perhaps, rstrong ...
I can remember many trips to Chicago, a venue I cannot recall at the moment, wherein I watched Frampton, Heart, Zeppelin, The Who et al. Too much Jack D and Strawberry Hill, as I recall.
Haven't done much of any since ... still, good times ...
