Once again, your attempt to play off an ignorant post of yours misfires. No one said that you did say mortgaging a home was bad. It was a very simple analogy about a $4 trillion government and a household budget.Supsalemgr wrote:Once again Stinger's imagination exceeds reality. Where did I post buying a home through the mortgage process is wrong? If one can service debt then borrowing is fine. It is when a person or government borrows past the point they can service the debt is where the problem is. BTW, printing money is not a good way to service debt.Stinger wrote:Taking that analogy further, how many families would be living in tents because they were forbidden by law to incur debt to purchase a house?O Really wrote:And even if it were, I don't know very many people who have a legal limit on how much they incur on their credit cards, changeable by a vote of their family members.Stinger wrote:Maybe Soupy should try getting his mind around the fact that a $4 trillion government budget is not run like a household budget.Supsalemgr wrote:Maybe they should try running their own budgets that way.
Further, how many families, having incurred debt by mortgaging a house, would simply refuse to incur more debt to repair the house when struck by disaster -- e.g. an earthquake damaging the structure.
I'm guessing most families would incur more debt to repair their damaged house.
Stupy Sales apparently would not.
Don't know if you were actually too dim to get it or just trying to save face.
Either way -- epic fail.

Typical Defective Colon post. Too damn stupid to know what he's talking about.Colonel Taylor wrote:Typical said/posted by a lib but when called out on it attack the messenger. Funny as Heck man.![]()

Vrede wrote:Still lying. You said "the libs" when it was only one, and you said "just stretch the truth" when Stinger clearly admitted that Obama lies, too.Colonel Taylor wrote:It doesn't change a thing either way he said Obama certainly stretches the truth and spins. Same meaning. What's wrong have to run and protect another lefty who can only lie. Two peas in a pod Liar one and Liar 2.Vrede wrote:The full quote:Yep, one lib not "the libs", and "Colonel Taylor" deceptively edited it to change the actual meaning. But, maybe he was just stretching the truth.
It's hilarious that you're posting about this when you just got caught in 2 lies. Saying that I've lied about anything makes it 3. Please keep it up.

Dumb shit, you just went down in flames again. First, it proves you wrong, so it proves you a liar since you keep repeating it. Second, it proves you a liar because you deceptively edited my post to make it appear that I said something I didn't say.
It certainly does make a difference. You repeatedly claimed that I said the Obama didn't lie, that he only stretched the truth when that is clearly not what I said. I said that Obama lied, just not as brazenly as Willy Mitt.
If you are too stupid to see that, get someone at the group home to explain it to you.

Sadly enough, rstrong, too true.
