2020 sucks so bad that even the phrase "Hope is contagious" has an entirely new meaning.
It also marks the year that many people can no longer use the word "trump" as it has been used for 500 years.

We know that language changes over time. Typically it's new words that become immediately part of our vocabulary, while losing words is a slower process, but not this time. To trump something is gone from my vocabulary and I'm probably not the only one.
Bridge needs a new word.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
They should change the terminology in chess from "check" and "checkmate" to "trump" and "trumpmate" just to make a statement. It would also be a trumpmate if they did so.
