I wonder how many of Joe's picks for his team have been influenced by the GA runoffs, if any.

I'll bet that a book titled LOSER and solely containing brief descriptions of the 70-some post-election court decisions would sell well.billy.pilgrim wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 8:46 pmA little here too, but I'm loving trump losing over and over

Sweet.Biden picks Warren allies to lead SEC, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
President-elect Joe Biden has selected FTC commissioner Rohit Chopra to be the next director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and Obama-era Wall Street regulator Gary Gensler to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Why it matters: Both picks are progressive allies of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and viewed as likely to take aggressive steps to regulate big business....
The big picture: Biden is going to attempt to chart an economic policy that's visibly to the left of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. If he succeeds, it's going to show up not only in taxes and spending, but also in regulation.

Bold move:
Biden picks transgender woman as assistant health secretary
She is more than qualified, but this is also a signal to the hateful fundies and their appeasers.

I wonder what the chances are of having marijuana decriminalized on the federal level in the Biden admin?
Seems like it's time.

Past time. It probably wouldn't affect you very much, though, as long as SC/NC kept it illegal, and it wouldn't affect me very much because it is state legal and the feds don't bother with it. But, it would help the industry in regard to use of credit cards, banking, interstate transport, etc.

It would be a huge uptick on the supply side as distributors are only able to get products from their respective states.O Really wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 12:12 pmPast time. Yeah, could be. But if states keep it illegal, you still couldn't ship to/through them. But certainly for contiguous legal states, it would be a big help. BTW, when you see your first legal marijuana farm, it's a beautiful sight to behold.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 1:45 pmIt would be a huge uptick on the supply side as distributors are only able to get products from their respective states.O Really wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 12:12 pmPast time. Guessing air freight wouldn't be affected. Also guessing that's how most of this stuff would be shipped.O Really wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 2:36 pmYeah, could be.
