Congratulations to the LSU fans that are here.

Rece Davis - "Clemson, they're still the gold standard overall, certainly in this era of college football."

ESPN - And while Clemson was denied back-to-back national titles, it is still No. 1 in the first edition of the 2020 Way-Too-Early Top 25.
https://www.espn.com/college-football/s ... emson-land
Rece Davis - They're still setting the standard in college football. They've already been established as the team to beat next year.
Coach Swinney: "Tonight was about LSU. I thought they played a beautiful game. Joe Burrow was tremendous and their receivers made incredible plays. Give them credit, they played a great game and deserved to win. I’m very happy for Coach O. This was their night."

Orgeron became the interim coach of the University of Southern California football team in 2013 but failed to get the job permanently. He told his wife, Kelly, “Besides the day I buried my father, this is the worst day of my life.”
She replied, “No, it’s not,” and explained that “God had a better plan.” Orgeron said, “Whew! It better be good.” It was.
Orgeron became head coach of the LSU Tigers in 2016. His quarterback, Joe Burrow, won the Heisman Trophy this year. Last night, his team won the title, stopping Clemson’s twenty-nine-game winning streak.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney’s faith has become well known over the years, as has the faith of quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Now we know that Orgeron and his wife are followers of Jesus as well.

I knew there was something I liked about coach O.

Should I resent that?

"College men from LSU
Went in dumb, come out dumb too"

Randy Newman
Idk. Are you saying that it was dumb of you to make the connection? :P

Connection?

I have been laughing at their silly tiny headed tiger for years and thought it was funny that some lsu fans agreed but your ... after Great minds comment (that usually means - think alike) triggered the randy Newman song memory - which has since become an earworm. Its really not bad as earworms go.

"We got no-necked oilmen from Texas
And good ol' boys from Tennessee
And college men from L.S.U
Went in dumb, come out dumb too
Hustlin' 'round Atlanta in their alligator shoes
Gettin' drunk every weekend at the barbecues"

Its really hell of a song. I wish more current music was about social and environmental issues, or maybe I just listen to the wrong stuff.

No offense, but you did quote yourself and then post about a ("dumb") LSU fan with similar feelings about the pinhead Clemson Pussy.

Haven't seen the sec replay the Outback bowl, billy.
Time management, surly the sec wouldn't ignore Auburn.

Preseason polls are pretty much just preseason polls, but they can be roughly right. This one shows Clemson playing zero top 10 teams, while Auburn will be tested by 3 teams ranked 6 or better.

If there's even a season, the Pussies can't help that the ACC is so weak and preseason #11 Notre Dame may have been top ten when the game was scheduled. However, it's also playing Mid-American Conference Akron and FCS The Citadel  , and I wonder if it might have picked up an ACC game or two that it didn't have to schedule.
