Your big rival at U of A seems, from the standpoint of a generally disinterested observer, to keep its dynasty going much better than Auburn. What do you think they're doing different, other than obviously getting the benefit of doubt from all the ranking polls?
Bama cheats and the refs are biased. Pay attention.

Vrede, you criticize my criticism of refs making bad calls at crucial times in bammer games, yet you understand that cheating goes on in business and politics, why not sports. I don't watch games in other conferences so I don't know what you see, but it's obvious you haven't watched a close bammer game.

What criticism? I merely reminded O Really of things that you've told us many times. I don't watch enough Bama or WDE games to have an opinion.

Because of the money, the sec has tried to have the #1 and #2 national spots leading into our conference championship. The officiating to accomplish this has been so bad that entire crews of officials have been suspended.

Good.

Take a look at the lopsided number of Bama alum who are officials.

Bama grads can't get real jobs.

He's gone now but during Florida's urban days, the former president of the Gainesville gator boosters was a ref for the west.

I don't know if it's actual cheating or just a bias, but bammer and recently uga (replaced Florida in the east) share in some offical breaks, all in the SEC's attempt to have our conference championship #1 vs #2.

Watch this.

Are the refs biased in favor of Auburn? :P

(Ole Miss coach) Lane Kiffin expresses extreme frustration after speaking with SEC regarding questionable officiating in Auburn game, calls out league policy on silence

I did not watch the game and have no opinion on the officiating.
Fans questioning Nick Saban's odd comment following Jaylen Waddle's season-ending injury

... Following the first half of the Alabama-Tennessee game, the Crimson Tide coach shared with CBS that star receiver Jaylen Waddle would miss the rest of the season due to injury.

Waddle was injured during the opening kickoff of the game, as his ankle got rolled up on during the tackle.

Everything Saban had to say about Waddle was fine until he got to this part of the video posted below.

“I hate it that [Waddle] gets hurt on a play like that. Not supposed to bring a ball out when he’s that deep in the end zone,” Saban says in the video....
Deion Sanders' Jackson State program put on probation by the NCAA, hit with recruiting restrictions

... all the issues the NCAA found occurred at Jackson State before Sanders was hired by the school....
I did not know that Neon Deion got a head coaching job. I hope he does well despite the restrictions.

They replayed it a hundred times. Plus, he would have behaved differently it he thought he had touched it.

I think we we uncharacteristically lucky. We deserved one though, way too much holding and offensive pass interference no calls.

Yes, a sec game.

Not sure why fans would question nick for being nick. After the Kick-6 loss he blamed his line for standing around and not following the kick to the end zone. There are many such. I'm not sure that I disagree, except they are still kids he expects adult responses from.

With more #1s than anyone doesn't equal poor coaching. Definitely poor empathy, fathering, etc.

Remember this? Foles vs Trubisky, 2019 NFL playoffs:

Cody Parkey “Double Doinks” 43 Yard Game Winning Field Goal

Boring.

Quad doink.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/ri ... r-BB1amCSp
... Saturday’s kick came in the first overtime of Rice’s game against Middle Tennessee State. The teams entered overtime tied at 34-34 and MTSU missed a field goal to begin the first OT. Needing just a field goal to win it, Rice played for the three points and ended up with four bounces.

College football’s rules alternate possessions in overtime, so Rice started the second OT with the ball. After failing to get a first down, Rice turned to Riccitelli again and his 40-yard kick was blocked.

That meant MTSU simply needed to score to end the game and QB Asher O’Hara gave the Blue Raiders a 40-34 victory with a 14-yard run....
Ouch. I think multiple doinks should be worth something, say 1 point for a double doink, 2 points for a triple and so on, added to the 3 points if the ball goes through, but still scoring something if it doesn't.

Wild.

MD > MN 21-7 in 1st.
MN > MD 28-21 at half.
MN > MD 38-21 after 3.
MN - MD 38-38 after 4. 1st time in 70+ Big 10 games that MD has ever come back from 17 or more down in the 4th.
MD > MN 45-44 on a missed MN PAT in OT1.

Taulia Tagovailoa 5 TDs, 3 passing, 2 running, 26/35 for 394 yds. He's the younger brother of AL > Dolphins QB Tua. I guess that I have to forgive the family now.

Clemson University has the most cumulative positive COVID-19 cases out of any university in the United States

Image

... Sixteen out of every hundred students have gotten the coronavirus, and if cases continue to rise, it could become two out of every ten students....

Clemson University, at this time, has not signaled any intentions to pause in-person instruction or campus access, despite the growing number of COVID-19 cases....

This is funny
 At Death Valley!

Before Clemson's half ending FG the Tigers had not been down by 18 since 2013.
Clemson has never lost a regular season game when ranked #1.
Their backup QB is playing a decent game. It's the defense that's not shown up.

Edit: Ut-oh, 28-26 deep in the 3rd.
Clemson releases attendance plan for 2020 fall sports

... The main part of the plan is to reduce fan capacity from the normal 81,500 capacity to approximately 19,000 fans. This will allow for social distancing to be enforced in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The seating arrangements have been designed as seating pods, grouping people in sets of two and four throughout Memorial Stadium. This is designed to keep families and friends together and reduce the chance of crowding groups of people....

Due to CDC guidelines, face coverings will be required at all times inside and around the stadium unless consuming food and beverages. Each fan will have a certain gate of entry and there will be no stadium re-entry passes given out this season....

Other notable changes include the elimination of pregame traditions like the Tiger Band Parade and Tiger Walk and the classic post game tradition of Gathering at the Paw. The athletic department is encouraging fans that are listed as “at-risk” by CDC health guidelines to stay home and refrain from attending games.

The athletic department also announced the request of fans to not tailgate during home games. Tents, trailers and large gatherings have been prohibited for the season, but the department did not announce measures that will be taken to enforce this decision. Fans can most likely expect police presence in the parking lots to discourage potential violators of this decision. Parking lots will open three hours prior to kickoff and close one hour following the completion of a game....

Radakovich also announced that the Tiger Band will be on the Hill this year and that visiting ACC opponents will be awarded 200 tickets for distribution amongst the players’ family and friends....
The TV announcers reiterated the limits.
