Gun Legislation

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

The first thing that pops into Seth's head is Vrede's penis. I'm not surprised.
You mean "he" has one? I don't recall the conversation going that way; but obviously, you're the only one that knows "he" has one; not surprising.

Leave him alone. If he want's to visualize head-popping penis's that's his business.

You are a delusional idiot again, Seth Milner.
You just acknowledged that bannination was delusional because of his fantasies, and you call me a delusional idiot?

How could the colors, which you screw up using completely, be my "thingy"? Do you actually think I invented this palette format that's used in hundred of forums?
No, not invented, but most used by you. The others were the ones to decry it's use, despite the fact it's an excellent way to separate the conversations when replying to each line, like I'm doing here.

I would no more get mad at you than I would "categorize 'Special Ed' children as a blight on society", another illiterate conclusion of yours.
Don't piss at me; you were the one mocking their being 'Special Ed' children.

You have nothing of value, positive or negative, to add to adult conversation.
Haven't seen (or heard) any adults to converse with. If/when I do make any sort of statement, sensical or non-sensical, instead of commenting, disagreeing or questioning, my posts are met with a barrage of "adult" idiocy and name-calling.
Now, tell me about this "adult conversation" shit.

Your only purpose to me is for occasional mild entertainment in pointing out how stupid, childish, whiny, immoral, dishonorable and cowardly you are. Thank you.
Damn, is that all? Believe me, I've been belittled by better people; so I'm happy I can make your day.

You joined well after the goat avatar was gone. Maybe the folks that have been saying all along that you are Mr.B, even down to using his same external emojis, are correct, which would be pretty psychotic of you. I won't bother looking for your "explanation", we all know you're a serial liar.
Although I've not seen a photo, it's no secret your avatar used to be a goat wearing a rainbow covering, big deal.

As far as "emojis(?)" , I use emoticons, available all over the internet. I first saw the different ones used when I read back posts.
A poster named Mike used them frequently in his posts. All I had to do was follow the link. Maybe I'm really Mike? I know you probably won't bother to read my explanation, because of the cowardly wuss you are; you know, dishing it out but can't take it? Besides, if I was Mr.B, you would have broadcast it long ago; we know how close you two were.

Ask Vrede too; "he's" all-knowing. I did receive 2 pm's from a Mr.B when I first joined here.

Maybe he's telling you he knows a good thing when he see's it? Damn.

About this, bannination: "When I was a small girl, I dreamt of standing in a room, looking at a . . . ."

Just think though . . . how many men fantasize about a threesome with 2 women? (I'm too damn old to keep up, but I can watch!)
Since this is a gun thread, I'd be sure to keep my gun locked up!

Disclaimer for the benefit of Canadians and Liberals everywhere: While the above-displayed ad is real and was published in Boys' Life in 1966, the claim that people would "lose their friggin' minds over this today" is debatable.

You're right, Seth. Such an ad would be considered totally unacceptable now. Thanks for pointing out progress.
Sometimes it's hard to see it with all the NRA yammering that's been dominating the discussion for years.

Of course, if those were black kids, they might as well be wearing targets if they take their guns to the park.

It's also nice not to see ads with doctors recommending cigarette brands...

We can only hope. But I'm thinking she'll get off with the opps defense.

... If he were the prosecutor, and the child had shot someone else, he’d consider filing charges against the mother. “It’s very important to make it clear that safety is important with guns,” Shorstein said.

But since the mother is the one who was shot, she’s probably suffered enough, Shorstein said. “You have to put great weight on the fact that the person who is criminally liable is the one who was shot,” he said. “I’d be very reluctant to prosecute in this situation.” ...
Hard to argue with that. And, she's already doing community service - by representing gunhuggers so well.

Also the kid - shot mom and put her in jail?

Too bad there wasn't another armed preschooler in the back seat, this could have all been prevented.

Maybe we need to better arm our moms so they don't lose shoot outs with 4 year old kids. Did that really happen or is it a promo for a new Carl Hiaasen book?

I don't think jail would be an appropriate sentence. As we have discussed, the US has way too many people locked up unnecessarily. But I'd like her to be charged/convicted with a felony so that she loses her guns. Problem is, leaving a gun around for the kiddies is just a misdemeanor in gun-happy Florida anyway.
