Right, Brady didn't mention anything Patriots, Belichick or Kraft in his retirement statement.

Why reference what Kraft said?

Oh, I thought you were whining about the link not mentioning Patriots, Belichick, or Kraft.

As far as Brady goes, I expect it's not been an easy decision for him to retire, so I'm willing to cut him some slack. I would not be surprised if he were to write a memoir of his NFL days and provide you with all the references that you seem to yearn for.

But clearly a superstar like you has every right criticize Mr. Brady. Just remind us: who did you quarterback for?

You fail comprehension, yet again. GoCubsGo's post is a statement of a surprising fact, not a criticism. Also, I knew from the start that GoCubsGo was referring to what Brady mentioned, not the link. It's funny that you got befuddled and stupidly tried to correct GoCubsGo.

Pay attention.

Wow, giving you a little rope to hang yourself is just too easy.

Thank you for obliging.

Perhaps you should read the links, or even O Really's post before your lack of comprehension skills or Flight of Ideas syndrome kicks in.

Typical butthurt attack response.

Most people would've said "oops, my bad."

That's no "Whoops." The Brady tweet came 1.5 hours after you remarked on Brady not mentioning the Patriots in his prior statement.

Lie, pitiful. You stupidly and irrelevantly told GoCubsGo that the article mentioned Kraft. You never posted a word about what Brady said.

NFL Network is playing:
The Brady 6

Six QBs were taken ahead of Tom Brady in the 2000 NFL draft. The six - Tee Martin, Marc Bulger, Chris Redman, Spergon Wynn, Chad Pennington, and Giovanni Carmazzi - are profiled along with an analysis as to why Brady wound up being taken 199th overall.
Interesting that this program was made 10 years ago! Brady had even more greatness since. Marc Bulger was okay and only Chad Pennington was a real success.

The 6 foolish teams, in the same order:
Pittsburgh Steelers
New Orleans Saints
Baltimore Ravens
Cleveland Browns
New York Jets
San Francisco 49ers

Opps.

Oh well, I don't hate the Rams.
Me either and I'm a little torn. I do want Stafford to win one but the Bungles have never won it all.

Got two weeks to search my gut...
Ditto. The Rams will have a home field edge, but that may matter less for a SB.

Wow, I thought he'd go for one more run at a ring.

But, more power to him. He has no more mountains to climb.
(Brady's ;) ) Dad says, "Not true." -0-?

I don't begrudge his going for a two-fer, but another playoff loss or even not making the playoffs would highlight a decline. Instead, he goes out pretty much still on top, with everyone knowing that he was capable of another SB win if he wanted.
Funny, just last night I heard a TV news guy saying the opposite:

1. He would want to go out on top.
Pffft. That minimizes how difficult it is to win the SB, and IMO one of the top 8 teams in the NFL and just 4 points away from being one of the top 4 teams is kinda on top.

2. Maybe anger over the premature retirement rumor will cause him to react by staying.
Pffft. World's pettiest reason for a momentous life choice.

Oh well, egg on TV news guy's face now.

... Actually, some guys who spent the vast majority of their time with one team and then played for somebody else toward the end of their career have signed one-day contracts to retire as an original team member. Somebody's still bitter over something.
Different TV news guy says that's still possible. Me: Why not for a home exhibition or regular season game next season?

I'm actually thinking that one of the reasons he came back this year was for back to back championships, a final exclamation point on his career. He would've loved to Elway his way off center stage.
