Wingnutties out of control!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

So amazing that dems are only up 3 or 7 points against these idiots.
Tribalism and mis-placed loyalty. 25 miserable seasons, Dan Snyder, and everybody taking shots at your name, and there are still a lot of 'Skins fans.
The Redskins were once one of the NFL's marquee franchises, as they won three Super Bowls between 1982 and 1991 and played in a fourth. But if you're a fan in your early 30s or younger, all you know is pain and misery, and you probably hate Daniel Snyder with a passion. Since Joe Gibbs retired as coach after the 1992 season, the Redskins have only made the playoffs five times. And even though Washington has dropped a couple spots since the last update, it seems nowhere close to making the postseason and getting off this list after another clunker this season.

It's not just a matter of rarely making the playoffs, though. The Redskins have only won two playoff games since Gibbs left, with one of those coming when Gibbs briefly returned to coaching. They haven't won a playoff game since 2005 and haven't advanced past the divisional round since their 1991 title.

Fresh burrata with mixed tomato varieties, fresh basil, bread crumbs, olive oil and salt!
Made by me :)
Burrata

Burrata (Italian pronunciation: [burˈrata]) is an Italian cow milk cheese (occasionally buffalo milk) made from mozzarella and cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella, while the inside contains stracciatella and cream, giving it an unusual, soft texture. It is typical of Apulia.
Yummm.

Thanks, but I could only stomach a few seconds.
Trump surrogate Kim Guilfoyle slams home state, suggests Puerto Rico isn't part of U.S., in loud, dark RNC speech

Kimberly Guilfoyle, the former Fox News host who now reportedly earns $180,000 a year traveling to promote President Trump, delivered an animated prime-time speech Monday during the first night of the Republican National Convention. Most of her remarks focused on Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, portraying his agenda for America as aimed at authoritarian strong-man socialism and rampant crime. She also suggested Puerto Rico isn't part of the U.S. and said Democrats had ruined California, her home state, currently run by ex-husband Gov. Gavin Newsom (D)....

Near the end, Guilfoyle turned to promoting what she called Trump's sunny plans for the U.S., getting progressively louder until she yelled the finale to the empty room: "The best is yet to come!"

"His politics are appalling": Steve Mnuchin's family speaks out in disgust over his fealty to Trump

... . "It turned awkward when Mr. Saunders realized he was speaking to the Treasury secretary's father. Sounding disgusted, Mr. Saunders asked Mr. Mnuchin about his son. The elder Mr. Mnuchin appeared pained. 'His politics appall me, too, really appall me,' he replied, according to Mr. Saunders. 'But he's my son.'"

The report also notes that during an earlier attempt by the Times to get Mnuchin's father to comment on his son "he demurred but seemed to be near tears."

Mnuchin's father is not the only family member displeased with his relationship with Trump.

"Robert Mnuchin's wife, Adriana, has reminded people that she is not Steven's biological mother. (The couple married when he was a toddler.) She reluctantly attended Steven's 2017 wedding to the Scottish-born actress Louise Linton. Ms. Mnuchin pretended her arm was injured in order to avoid having to shake hands with Mr. Trump, according to her grandson Zan Mnuchin Rozen," the report notes.

As for Zan Mnuchin Rozen, in a now-deleted Facebook post he wrote: "my uncle has been complicit in, and in some cases directly culpable for, many years of the marginalization, persecution and stereotyping of black people in the United States." His actions "cannot and will never be defensible."

The Times reports that the Treasury Secretary was asked to comment about his relationship with his family and replied that he tried to avoid discussing politics with them.

Thanks for your vote of confidence but I generally only send my scathing commentary to persons in positions of authority; this guy only deserves to have his ass kicked. However, if you happen to have his email address, I'll do my best.

Democrats alert inspector general that GOP's Biden probe “directly implicated” Perry in corruption

The Republican report aimed at raising questions about the dealings of Democratic nominee Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden in Ukraine appears to have accidentally implicated former Energy Secretary Rick Perry in an energy scheme in the foreign nation, according to the top Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee.

Republicans led by Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., released their much-hyped report on Hunter Biden's role at the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma on Wednesday. However, it found no evidence of actual wrongdoing and relied largely on debunked claims, old statements and narratives pushed as part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

But the report did find new evidence related to Perry's actions in Ukraine while he served in President Donald Trump's Cabinet....

I came across this article from Time magazine and it paints a vivid picture of the stark ignorance of many Americans. It made me embarrassed to be an American, but it also explains how and why folks like the cat fan and PP have the outlook and beliefs they apparently have. But like George Carlin said......"Think of how stupid the average person is and then realize half of them are stupider than that."

The sheriff says it depends, was it a kidnapping attempt or a legal attempt to arrest the governor on felony charges.

Man killed at Madison Hts Texas Roadhouse connected to Boogaloo Movement

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. - The arrests of the members of the Michigan militia Wolverine Watchmen happened just days after a man suspected to be part of the Boogaloo movement was killed by federal officials.

Federal authorities are cracking down on anti-government groups and local cells like the Wolverine Watchmen, which is accused of plotting to kidnap and question Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Last Friday, authorities tried to arrest another man, 43-year-old Eric Allport, who is also believed to be part of the anti-government group The Boogaloo Movement.

Allport died in a shootout with federal agents outside the Madison Heights Texas Roadhouse....

Sources tell FOX 2 it was important to get Allport off the streets before the statewide raids on the Wolverine Watchmen this week for fear of how he would react.

"Looking at what's happening in this country and kind of this unrest that's happening and consuming this messaging that saying that there are problems in America that you need to deal with, that's where the danger is going to come in the next few months,"

FOX 2 saw Allport's parents at his home Thursday where he lived with his pregnant wife.

Past reporting on the family suggests they are white separatists. In the early 90s Allport and his family lived in Ruby Ridge, Idaho, and were close friends, neighbors with the white supremacist family at the center of the infamous Ruby Ridge Standoff between Randy Weaver and US Marshals who were attempting to arrest Weaver on federal weapons charges.

The same charges - that led to Allport's death.
The only good Boogaloo white separatists are . . .
