Poor Sluggo. Too dim-witted to understand simple statistics.

No wonder he's such a loser.
You know you really need to go outside, get some air, pet a dog.

You know, get a life.

Ulysses, OTOH, has actual stats to back up his posts.

Example:

Just timed the pre-game show. From 10:15 TO 10:33:

36% of the show time was just for commercials.

OMG, are you telling us that the Super Bowl is an advertising bonanza?! Why didn't I know this before??? Maybe we should devote a unique thread to this stunning revelation. Oh wait . . .

OMG.

Just turned on the tube again, and some fool was going over a ridiculous game he called "Squares" where certain combinations of scoring numbers are plotted on some sort of table.

What a glorious waste of time.

But I bet it sells beer.

And it might keep Grede off the streets. So there is that.

A timeless tradition of office pools and superbowl parties for decades.

In other words, as well as being mindless and requiring no skill or even knowledge of football, it's good clean fun, gives people something to cheer for and you might make a buck or two.

If you had any friends or past office contemporaries that could tolerate you perhaps you could've played.

No wonder you've never heard of it.

I used to work in a lab with a chap from Chicago. We both joined a departmental baseball team. The rules included no stealing bases.

So of course the first thing this Chicago Cuck did was steal a base. OUT!

Figures.

And from that I got the impression that Chicagoans don't play by the rules.

2022 Superbowl scheduled for 3 pm PST in LA at the Ram's stadium (whatever it's called today). Scheduled to take 4:15 hours.
Nope, 4:45. 6:00 PM - 10:45 PM EST. Math much?

That's in addition to the estimated commercial overload during the game. I'm guessing it will be 50% actual field action (inluding timeouts, penalties, riots, and such), 25% commercials, and 25% nonsense commentary....
Halftime show. Have you ever watched a Super Bowl before?

Actually I was invited to plenty of superbowl parties with the "smart people".

There just weren't any cucks, slugs, or Greedies there.

Which raised the average IQ even more.

Not to mention the air quality.

Meanwhile, here's my commercial tally:

In the first 35 minutes, no actual football being played. Of those minutes, approximately a third were devoted to commercial breaks, the rest to introductions etc.

In the following 30 minutes, about 40% of the time was spent on commercial breaks. Actual play time included brief intervals between plays.

I stopped timing things after about the first hour.
