Re: The car thread ...
I predict more than a few of these (Trackhawk SUV) will flop onto their side or top with that sort of power; the handling and control of that rig I would be suspicious of. Rather have a sports car.

I have always wanted a Porsche 911 Carrera but, alas, they are fine machines that are above my pay grade.

That Mustang with the racing stripes reminds me of my old horse; he didn't run off the road and have to be hauled off, though.

When plants fight back:

Comments:No one injured when vehicle collides with Saguaro cactus in Tucson
A cactus ended up through a car's windshield when the driver struck the Saguaro after crossing the median Wednesday morning in Tucson, according to Pima County Sheriff's Department officials....
The driver was the only one in the vehicle and had minor injuries. He was detained for further investigation after deputies observed signs and symptoms associated with impairment, Jelineo said.
No arrests have been made at this time.
"Officer, I was driving along and all of a sudden, here comes this big cactus!"
Watch out for cactus, one drink and they walk all over the road.
That took talent.

like hitting a deer or a cow, the cactus is known to be weak at the knees.Vrede too wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 1:52 pmWhen plants fight back:Comments:No one injured when vehicle collides with Saguaro cactus in Tucson

The damn thing looks like broken wood; I figured cactus was sort of like a sponge or something inside.

Swiss government auctions off cars owned by the son of an African dictator. Proceeds to go to social welfare programs in Guinea. Cool

When going out with your device was more fun. Definitely more personal, cruising the boulevard.
