True, but the Aztec Empire collapsed in 1521. :P
True that. That's probably why their lobby isn't as strong as the Indians' for objecting to cultural misappropriation.

FCS

Montana (11) 6-2 > @Northern Colorado 3-6. 35-0.
:happy-cheerleaderkid:

Montana St (4) 7-1 > @Eastern Wash (5) 7-1. Nice match up. Sweet, 23-20.
Other Top 10 teams to lose. Losers: 2, 5, 6, 7. Top 10 for Montana, baby!
Stats Perform FCS Top 25

1 Sam Houston 8-0
2 James Madison 8-1
3 Montana State 8-1  Moved up 1.
4 South Dakota State 7-2
5 North Dakota State 8-1 :puke-left:
6 UC Davis 8-1. Moved up 2.
7 Eastern Washington 7-2. Fell 2.
8 Villanova 7-2
9 Montana 7-2   Moved up 2.
10 Kennesaw State 8-1

The FCS playoffs is a 24 team tournament, with the top 8 teams (not necessarily the Stats Perform ranking) getting a 1st round bye. Montana has already lost to Eastern Washington :( , but plays Montana State at home in the 11/20 regular season finale. That bye is close, go Griz!

It's been a good day for the O Really house today. Luck may run out against the Ducks, though. We'll see.
Tonight:
N. Carolina 5-4, 4th ACC Coastal Division @Pittsburgh (21) 7-2, 1st ACC Coastal Division.
Pitt favored by 6.5. Hmmm.
Could get UNC a Bowl game.
Could get Pitt a spot in the ACC Championship vs Wake Forest or N.C. State, and be the difference between a really good year or not.
(Yep, you read that correctly. Clemson won't be in the ACC Championship game. Yippee!)

A team that beats #10 WFU and loses to FSU should go to something like the Sweet and Sour Bowl. Or the Hot and Cold Bowl. Or probably some pretend bowl like the "Duke's Mayo Bowl" (yes, it's real)

So can we still get Alabama out of the championship series? Who do they have left to play that isn't a patsy?

Sat, Nov 13 vs N. Mex. St. 1-8. Patsy.
Sat, Nov 20 vs (25) Arkansas 6-3. Patsy?
Then, the regular season finale as always  :
Spoiler:
Sat, Nov 27 @ (17) Auburn 6-3. "The Iron Bowl".
You are mean, O Really.
Then, there's (1) Georgia 9-0 in the SEC Championship, but Alabama might have to also lose one of the above 3 games to get knocked out, or it might depend on how badly Georgia beats it. Idk.

Note: If Alabama somehow loses its last 2 regular season games it could get knocked out of the SEC Championship game and would get knocked out of the Playoffs.

Wow, forced OT after an awful start, but UNC should have iced it with a TD in regular time.

Edit: Yup, gotta get that TD when you have 1st and goal from the two. 5-5 UNC is so Zen, balance in all things

Go Pitt unless it's vs NCSU in the ACC Championship. In that case -0-? .

Drop is legit considering our qb has a broken ankle that he played on for at least a quarter.

So Auburn is 6-4, next to last in the conference, and has a reasonable likelihood of ending the season at 7-5. The team played mostly valiantly in a very tough schedule. But in retrospect, would you have enjoyed the season better with a bit easier schedule giving you maybe a 10-2 or 9-3 record and probably a better bowl trip?

Or, frivolously, would you trade either for a 1-11 record if the "1" was Bammer and the loss bumped them out of the championship?

12 South Dakota State 7-3 down8!
WATCH: No. 17 South Dakota stuns No. 7 South Dakota State with last-second Hail Mary touchdown

With just one second left on the clock and his team down three points, South Dakota's quarterback Carson Camp dropped back at his own 43-yard line, making a defender miss before launching a pass to the end zone. The ball was batted in the air — and Jeremiah Webb was awaiting below.

Watch the incredible play below:

:wtf: There's some non-player with 2 crutches running to celebrate at the end of the vid.

... Camp ended the game throwing 19 for 27 with 288 passing yards and two touchdowns. The final touchdown toss to Webb was Webb's first collegiate touchdown.
Nice first TD. He had to wrestle it away from a teammate. That would have been a long heave in the NFL, it's nuts for FCS.

The iron bowl is the only important game left for us, but I'm wondering if we will have anymore wins.

QB is out with a broken ankle and they announced today that our kicker is also out for the rest of the year.
