The Religion Thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

All you have to do is open those gypsy eyes and listen for that train that's coming... coming to take you to the red house where the Electric Church gathers late Friday night.

Get the church folks together, hand out some baseball bats,
and let them fight it out, and may the best congregation win. :violent:

 The problem with having been an Electric Church parishioner is that one doesn't remember a lot of the services . . . or entire years.

I think that's a great idea! Probably they'd all be praying to win, right? We'll see who, if anyone, has the "one true religion."

Imagine solving this 2,000 year old disagreement with a few swings
of the bat. I say go for it.

There's a Highway to Hell but only a Stairway to Heaven. Is the Devil more committed to infrastructure spending?

Matthew 7:13,14

13....."Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14.....Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

"I'm not inferring... that this accident happened because [Amtrak engineer Brandon Bostian] was gay, but I do think it's an interesting part of the story... When people are going through some confusion that has to do with the very core of who they are... I think it's something to be discussed and I think it's a factor, and I'm doubting you'll hear it anywhere else."

RationalWiki, an atheist, religion hate-mongering, biased, "everything in the Internet is the truth" organization is a credible source of information?

In reading your posts, one can discern that you are well-informed, educated, and not easily swayed by b.s. I'm surprised you would use something like RW as even a tongue-in-cheek source.

"The American Family Association, or AFA, is a reactionary Christian organization...... located in Tupelo, Mississippi.
They disseminate their hate via their own radio network, American Family Radio....

Hint: The hyper-stupid hate mongering quote from American Family Association director Sandy Rios, did NOT come via RationalWiki.

C'mon. THINK before you post.
