The Religion Thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

The kiddies knows all about this too? I betcha they'd like to hear the juicy (no pun intended) details, say over dinner, maybe? Mrs Homo made me plenty happy, I didn't brag to the world she was a great cocksucker though. I had more respect for her than you do yours.
RESPECT: look it up.

Seriously?
You think whatever I say on a reasonably-anonymous internet forum about "Mrs. O Really", if she exists, has anything to do with my real wife, if there is one?

And further, you think there's anything wrong with saying one's real wife rocks your world, even to the "kiddies"? As I recall, you are the one who was using the term "cocksucker" and always in a derogatory manner. I pointed out, correctly, that it is not always a bad thing and that most men are married to one. And I, like most normal males, am happy to be a - what was your term - carpet licker?

And do you suppose the "kiddies" who in my case, if they exist, would be early middle age, think the ol' man never did the deed?

You are some weird dude.

Kewl. Is that before or after the "yo bring me a beer, babe"? And does it have the same effect if you wear a t-shirt instead of a wife-beater? I want to make sure I get everything right to have the best results.

Before you go out though make sure to shove a kielbasa down your swear pants to make yourself more appealing. Take it out of the wrapper first though so that sweet sausage aroma fills the air around you. A manly meat musk. And make sure there are plenty of bacon grease stains on your white fruit of the loom shirt so the ladies know your a man that likes his bacon. This excites them because they know that you like a lady in the kitchen making bacon n babies, right where a lady wants to be.

Once your're all dressed up and ready to hit the town with your best Velcro shoes on, head on out to the local Walmart Micky dees and alpha male your way right on up to that sexy cashier with the 10 kids by 11 different fathers and say that pickup line I told you about.

That sound like an excerpt from a Redneck manual; "How to Meet Girls and Influence People"; I hear it works great at family reunions.

Wait, you have swear pants? Do you have to wear them to swear? Shit. I swear all the time without any pants on. Like now. Sorry. I'll get some tomorrow if I must. Oh wait did you mean sweat pants?

This picture reminds me of a tale about a jogger who went jogging daily on a trail in the city park wearing baggy silky shorts with a "junk bulge" in front of them, showing himself off to the ladies he passed on the trail. One day he passed out and EMS was called. When they picked him up to place him on the gurney, a large gourd squash fell out of his shorts. :wtf:

Swear pants are basically sweat pants but classier. You see, swear pants also have words written on the booty, usually profanity, to attract the attentions of the opposite sex by drawing their eyes to your goods. Letting a little bit of your sweat stained and ripped tighty whites hang out is an added bonus.

Thank you. Being married (or am I?) I miss the nuances of single life. Things were different in the seventies ( and sex didn't kill).

Since i know you are none of these things, JTA, why pick as an avatar Louis-Ferdinand Céline, known for "his virulent antisemitism, Holocaust Denial and racism"?

Because i love his first two books, journey to the end of the night and death on the installment plan. I just finished reading journey for the second time after ten years and it really hit home this time, hard. When i first read it as a younger JTA i missed a lot of the truth in it because i was much more idealistic and less nihilistic than now, but after re-reading it a second time ten years later every bit of it made sense, even the nonsensical stuff. He was a dick for being anti semitic, and fuck him for that the POS, but journey is an absolute masterpiece. My favorite book ever written alongside Herman Hesse's Narcissus and Goldmund.

I just really love literature.

Maybe a pic of Herman Hesse would've been a better choice. Not a malicious bone in that guys body.

“And where, I ask you, can a man escape to, when he hasn’t enough madness left inside him? The truth is an endless death agony. The truth is death. You have to choose: death or lies. I’ve never been able to kill myself.”
― Louis-Ferdinand Céline, Journey to the End of the Night
“In the whole of your absurd past you discover so much that's absurd, so much deceit and credulity, that it might be a good idea to stop being young this minute, to wait for youth to break away from you and pass you by, to watch it going away, receding in the distance, to see all its vanity, run your hand through the empty space it has left behind, take a last look at it, and then start moving, make sure your youth has really gone, and then calmly, all by yourself, cross to the other side of Time to see what people and things really look like.”
― Louis-Ferdinand Céline, Journey to the End of the Night
“They came from the four corners of the earth, driven by hunger, plague, tumors, and the cold, and stopped here. They couldn’t go any futrther because of the ocean. That’s France, that’s the French people.”
― Louis-Ferdinand Céline, Journey to the End of the Night

“Maybe what makes life so terribly fatiguing is nothing other than the enormous effort we make for twenty years, forty years, and more, to be reasonable, to avoid being simply, profoundly ourselves, that is, vile, ghastly, absurd. It’s the nightmare of having to represent the halt subhuman we were fobbed off with as a small-size universal ideal, a superman from morning to night.”
― Louis-Ferdinand Céline, Journey to the End of the Night
“Most people don't die until the last moment; others start twenty years in advance, sometimes more. Those are the unfortunates.”
― Louis-Ferdinand Céline, Journey to the End of the Night
Man I'm so excited to hit up the used book store tomorrow. Reading Journey has gotten me back into the groove again.
