It took the picture of a little girl running naked from napalm and a ditch in My Lai filled with babies and women to turn us against the Vietnam War.
Most people can't imagine what these guns can do.
I think it’s time that the opposition to these insane gun laws presents the reality of the blood and brains of small children spread on the walls of their once safe school room.

I listened to a TV discussion where someone was suggesting that we need an Emmett Till-style dose of reality. Someone else opined that we've become so jaded by violent imagery that it wouldn't matter.

New info: A teacher saw the shooter and pulled the door closed thinking it automatically locked. They're investigating whether there was a malfunction or whether someone else previously unlocked it.

Oh look, it was yet another police screw-up.

Texas authorities claimed a teacher propped open the back door of Texas school just before the gunman attacked. Now they say the teacher actually closed it before the shooting.

They even lied about having video evidence.

No doubt about it. What is needed is more guns and less abortions. The right wing peanut gallery has lately been conflating abortion and also pot smoking with gun violence. This is totally reasonable to your run of the mill wingnut or gullible dumbass and it will be bleated far and wide. I just wonder why it took them so long to see it....I myself have killed several hundred people after smoking pot. And I'm sure the dozens of others I know who smoke pot have also killed their share of kids and dark people. Not only that, I am directly responsible for thousands of women having abortions. The more abortions they have, the more it makes me want to kill. I'm a true menace entirely made up like a Christmas duck.
