BREAKING: SWEET KARMA! Viewership for CBS News COLLAPSES after MAGA hatchet woman Bari Weiss fired “60 Minutes” icon Scott Pelley for daring to stand up to her regime.
The people have spoken and they are furious...
According to media watchdog Status, "CBS Mornings" averaged 1.59 million total viewers in the days immediately following Pelley's termination. Before he was forced out, it had been averaging 1.8 million. That's an 11% drop and CBS officials are reportedly "alarmed."
And that's not even the best part.
Disastrously for CBS, viewership among the 25-54 demographic has dropped off by 28%, falling from 313,000 to 225,000. That viewing bloc is highly coveted by advertisers, who will now be willing to pay far less for CBS's programs.
Pelley was fired after he said that Editor-in-Chief Weiss — who has intentionally pushed the network's coverage to be pro-Trump in service to her boss David Ellison, a close ally of the President — was "murdering the show." He accused the new executive producer Nick Bilton, who was installed by Weiss, of having "slender qualifications" for the job.
Sounds familiar.
Viewership has slowly, slightly ticked up since that initial crash but the damage is done. From June 3 to June 14, it was still down 6% compared to the year-to-date average. The reason is obvious. Americans no longer trust CBS News because it has been revealed to be a festering hive of reactionary politics.
"Once those viewers are gone, it is very difficult to win them back," network executives confided to Status's Oliver Darcy.
On top of that, "CBS Mornings" is on track to log its worst-rated June in history, a stunning indictment of Weiss's evil, incompetent leadership. This woman has failed her way up through life by flattering the most powerful people in the world, leaving a trail of wreckage in her wake.
“The morning show’s ratings troubles are yet another sign that CBS News is grappling with a broader brand image problem under Weiss," wrote Darcy. "Her editorial overhaul and never-ending series of self-inflicted public relations disasters have alienated the network’s core audience, driving viewers away not only from the programs she has directly reshaped, but from other corners of the news division as well."
Please and share if you no longer trust CBS News!
I'm not boycotting CBS entirely (Ghosts, etc.), but I don't watch 60 Minutes or any of their news programming and if it's a coin flip whether to watch one of their shows I choose the competition.
If you want to achieve greatness stop asking for permission.

It's sort of unavoidable at this point. Don't forget nfl football.
Same thing goes for almost everything. Att, Verizon, T-Mobile, Facebook, Amazon.....the list goes on and on.

I figure I can't help it I'd the owners or show runners are right wingers, so I judge content only. If it becomes obvious in the show content, I'm outta there. Bbye Gail and Nate. I'll miss ya.
