Trump on Trial

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I wonder what all he sold. I also wonder why we can't get his interpreter to expose his conversations with putin.
There may be treason there.

That would be a bestseller.

Loose Cannon ruled against him on the status of classified docs. She may support P01135809 later, but she probably doesn't want to be accused of treason if she can avoid it.

Has anyone even suggested talking to her?

No telling what private conversations Loose Cannon has, but otherwise I suspect that she'll fend off all chats. Gotta maintain impartiality, whether it's real or a facade.

I meant the Interpreter. Especially the one who was present at his secret meetings with putin in sweden.

Don't think she's relevant to the current investigations and the Mueller stuff was all before he was president.

I'm taking Molly Michael's newfound law abiding patriotism with a grain of salt. She may very well be truthful now, but she was neck deep in TRE45QN's evil for at least 4 years and only ditched him when the walls started closing in last year. Her testimony may be valuable, but we're only getting it because she could be locked up, too. Classic mob rat.

I'm ok with that, heck you might be able to say the same about Cassidy Hutchinson.

Yep. I can't find when Hutchinson ditched Team TRE45QN. Plans for her to join him in Mar-a-Lardo fell through and she didn't stick with Meadows, so it was sometime between 1/20/21 and the Summer 2022 J6 Committee subpoenas.

Oh -0-? 4 years ago:
Who is interpreter Marina Gross and will her notes of Trump's Putin meeting be useful?
Interpreters are concerned a Congressional subpoena would set a bad precedent.

... Neither Gross nor her close family members provided comment for this story when contacted by ABC News.

Veteran interpreters are concerned that a Congressional subpoena of Gross or her notes of the meeting would set a dangerous precedent. They also question whether her interpreting notes would contain actual contents of the meeting itself....

President Donald Trump meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki, Finland, July 16, 2018. In picture at left is seen US interpreter Marina Gross. According to media reports, US opposition politicians are calling for Gross to be subpoenaed before Congress amid growing concerns on the controversial two-hour closed-door summit talks between Trump and Putin, in which only the two leaders' translators were present.
2 years ago:

Still a summit secret: What happened in Helsinki between Putin and Trump?
Democrats say they are no longer pursuing records of the private meeting.

I stumbled on this, different meeting:
Get to know the stunning Russian translator Putin brought to Trump meeting

From Russia with love?

US officials reportedly thought that Russian President Vladimir Putin chose an attractive female interpreter to “distract” former President Donald Trump during a 2019 summit....

It's because I believe he's a treasonous bastard that should br investigated for treason by someone somehow.

It would probably be a precedent; afterall, we know the right is always vindictive at 10 times the the level of whatever they experienced. We live in a world where a legitimate threatened Impeachment against nixon led to an actual Impeachment against Clinton over nothing.
Or the well deserved trump lmpeachment, is followed by Impeachment designs on Biden.

Setting the "dangerous precedent" would be politically valuable, but I'm afraid it would just be 'she said-he said' in a criminal trial.
