The Religion Thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Update: Watching soccer, eating McDonald's or Italian food, outdoor dining and being French are also devil worship.

This band always had some good tunes. They're not even death metal haha!

If you want some legit Satanic metal you go with this, not Eagles of Death Metal:
Spoiler:
Venom had the best Satanic lyrics though. They were ridiculously over the top on purpose. But a bunch of Norwegians back in the 90s didn't realize that and ended up burning down a bunch of churches.

Yeah, it's like naming your band The Weavers of Synth Rock.

Edit: That's actually a pretty cool name.

That is the attitude of (real) conservatives and liberals alike.

That's why, when I saw this, I posted it. What's "(real) conservatives and liberals"? Either you are, or you aren't.

Real conservatives in the United States? I don't believe those exist.

Either you are, or you aren't.
Well, sure. But there's also those who claim to be conservatives, and aren't.

Most of the Tea Party for example. Wanting to turn the country into a theocracy is NOT being conservative. Wanting to tar and feather any Republican who negotiates with Democrats on policy, is not conservative. Declaring war on ANY Democratic policy - even when it was Republican policy first as is often the case - is not being conservative. Etc.

Here in Canada where same-sex marriage has been around for over a decade without problems - really, the issue simply disappeared once it was settled - supporting same-sex marriage is a conservative stance. In the US where it's brand-new, not so much. But neither is it conservative for the Republican clown car to oppose civil rights and the Supreme Court, and to support those like Davis who want to use their government position to dictate their religion to others.

You folks do realize that Snopes is part of the vast, secret, left wing conspiracy, funded by George Soros, do you not?
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

Yes, I knew that, and I didn't post it as a joke; and deep down, it's really not a hoax; It's message is still valid. I posted it because I knew you would be the first to reply and it would serve to give you something to comment on and help you step out of your otherwise mundane existence. You needed a break from your constant agreeing with your compadres.

Your holiday post is a good one.
I knew you'd like it, that's why I posted it before the "joke". Now this. . . "Merry Christmas" !
