I think the Auburn game will be closer than the 10 point spread, but as usual Auburn is picked to win against higher ranked Arkansas.

15 out of 17 in our pool including me picked Arkansas +9.5.

13 picked Utah in a Yahoo-offline (not sure why) game! Must have been seduced by Utah’s #19 ranking. Utah’s wins have been over weak opponents or close, UCLA’s losses have been close vs. stronger opponents . . . and Vegas favors UCLA by 7. Either the group is wiser than me or they do no research at all.

Congrats!

I'm middle of the pack, again, but the OH St loss makes it a great day, regardless. If it beats Michigan on 11/26 could both be knocked out of the playoffs?

Huskies will be top 4 now!

And we should have our running back returing next week.
Great to see 2nd string run 200 yards. Go Bubba

Your losing streak to continue

We may even have our 1st string running back for this game. He's been out for several weeks with an ankle sprain, it was 2nd string Bubba who helped us get those 543 rushing yards last week.

Oh, and we got defense too. Arkansas had a total of 25 yards rushing.

Yep.

Go #4 Washington!!!, knock #17 Utah out of the top 25. Yep, but missed the spread.
Go #11 Wisconsin, replace #7 Nebraska in the top 10. Sweet.

Go #12 Florida St., something I never say, vs. #3 Clemson, put # 5 Louisville and it's Heisman candidate sophomore QB in the playoffs. Ooooh, FSU almost did it with a drive at the end, still beat the spread by 1.5. I’ll take it.
13-14 this week, boring middle of the pack again, in 7th out of 17 on the season.

#5 & 6 won weakly over unranked opponents, #7, #8 & #10 lost. #9 Texas A&M to #5? #11 Wisconsin to ___? #5 to #10 in the polls later today will be interesting.

I would put money on Vandy with those points. It could be a real close game - vandy slips in and wins a SEC game every now and then when a team gets too big headed. Dad went to Vandy and we were sometimes rewarded with the win over Tennessee.

or it could be a blowout early with Vandy closing well within that spread against the 4th string near the end of the 4th quarter.

T a and m by at least 30 over starkvegas

Corn dogs for the upset

Well, good when it's about Auburn.

Top 10 now. TV says the TAMU loss means Auburn controls its own destiny. Win out wins the West, beat the weak East - playoffs?

My note to the pool:
Clemson and Michigan both beat the huge spreads in the 1st half, darn. Good thing I didn’t try to side bet on MD.

(Sophomore!) Lamar Jackson pads Heisman résumé with 7 TDs in blowout Louisville win

... combined for 416 yards and seven total touchdowns in a convincing 52-7 victory over the (Boston College) Eagles....

By the time the dust settled, Jackson, who was taken out before the fourth quarter, had totaled 231 yards and four touchdowns passing and 185 yards and three scores on the ground on just 15 carries.

On the season, Jackson has 45 total touchdowns — 26 passing and 19 rushing. He passed the 1,000-yard rushing mark Saturday (now at 1,181) to go with his 2,753 passing yards....

The seventh-ranked Cardinals are now 8-1 on the season and are certainly still in the hunt for a College Football Playoff berth.

Go #4 Washington -15.5 vs. California !!! Go Huskies! The TAMU loss could move them up to 4th in the Playoff Selection Committee Poll, unless they get passed by Ohio State. Fortunately, they’ve still got surging USC and ranked Washington St to play, and probably only one slot will go to a Big Ten team - Ohio State, Mich or even WI. Undefeated yet out of the playoffs would really, really suck.
We had a 5-way tie for 1st this week, all 17-11. I’m in the middle of the pack yet again on the week, 13-15 and exact middle on the season, still $70 in the hole with 4 weeks left. Ut-oh.

Hard to tell about my team for next week.
1st string running back better but still not 100% from game 1 injury
2nd string Bubba went out yesterday with what looked like a hamstring
1st quarterback needed recovery time this week for his shoulder injury but had to come in 2nd half to save the game

For some reason Georgia and Auburn have a visitor's field advantage in this oldest of all southern football games

Wiki
Through the 2015 season, the rivalry is tied for the fifth most played college football series at 119 games, and is led by Georgia 56–55–8
