You know the difference in Baptists and Presbyterians, don't you?
Presbyterians will say "hello" to you in the liquor store.

From Woodlawn's Facebook page...
"Sin and the child of God are incompatible. They may occasionally meet; they cannot live together in harmony."
The pic was just an "occasional meeting."

That photo is several years old; it's long been debunked as a photoshop.
I just happened upon it again today as I was to browsing through the WSPA* section of eBaum's World.

Re: The Religion Thread
It's finally happened, as it does with all religions. FSM fundies are turning to violence to impose their theology.

"Online court records don't list an attorney or arraignment information . . . "
"Instant ramen noodles are extremely popular among students and other people of low income, due to their ease of preparation and unusually low cost. Instant noodles were invented by Momofuku Ando . . . of Japan."
I don't think religion played a role in the assault. 11:30 at night, they probably had been drinking or smoking pot, and the one who refused to eat and got assaulted must have told the aggressor who invented the noodles, and he thought he was disparaging his mother. . .

Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor and author, dead at 87
RIP.
I've been to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., the Dachau concentration camp and the Neuengamme concentration camp, all worth it if you're nearby, along with numerous other Holocaust related museums and exhibitions here and in Europe, and nonviolently directly confronting neo-nazis many times here.
Thank you for your leadership and inspiration, Elie Wiesel.

Giant Noah’s Ark Replica Costing ($100m, including $18m in KY tax dollars) Finally Set To Open To Public
If I was going to build a massive, purely fictional vehicle partially with tax dollars, it would be a Klingon Bird of Prey.

Or for only seven times the cost we could go to Jupiter and do some real science that could benefit all of humanity. (Estimated Juno mission costs.)Vrede too wrote:Giant Noah’s Ark Replica Costing ($100m, including $18m in KY tax dollars) Finally Set To Open To Public

When the next big flood happens, the only state to survive will be Kentucky because they already have an ark ready to roll.

It's a done deal I'm asking off of work just to make a pilgrimage to check this shit out.

Re: The Religion Thread
Maybe, we already know that it leaks bullshit. Why did they include 2 dead dinosaurs? Can we keep our tin foil hats on or do they make us take them off out of respect for holy crapola?

I would pay even more than that to send a Klingon Bird of Prey to Jupiter.

Re: The Religion Thread
Yeah true, that's how we know this arc is a fraud and is NOT historically accurate. It's been scientifically proven that dinosaurs died in he flood. That's why the Dino bones are buried deep underground.Vrede too wrote:Maybe, we already know that it leaks bullshit. Why did they include 2 dead dinosaurs? Other species were doomed by Noah not being able to tell the hetero animals from the gay ones.
