On balance I can see his point, but he takes such an absolutist view - "every" x 5 "has been consistently opposed". Many sects have found mandates for freedom and justice in the same Bible, just not often enough. Whether it's scripture that led them to their conclusions or their conclusions that led them to particular scripture I can't say.

I'm not entirely sure where my own values came from. They reflect my parents' but I somehow got extreme.

I'm afraid you too didn't get my poor attempt at snark because you didn't understand what I meant.

Atheists tend to be rather rabid in their hatred of religion, whereas most folks of religion tend to accept ills as a part of life.
Atheists rub illnesses and other human ills in the faces of religious people citing that a belief or faith in a Creator would not have allowed their calamity.

That's about as far as I can go with this; I'm sure you knew the meaning of my post to begin with.

So, yes, Blue Ridge Christian Academy lies to children about science and history and who knows what else. But they’re not alone.

I get why Christian parents would want to send their children to a school like this — it keeps them in a bubble and withholds the truth about the world that other students are exposed to from a young age. But for parents like the friend of the Redditor who posted the quiz online, this was a surprise. Ken Ham was right about one thing: None of this should have been news to the parents. It’s their responsibility to send their children to quality schools instead of ones like this, that use Ken Ham’s curriculum.

I really could care less because it's a private school, however, I really do feel pity and sorrow for the children that are getting ripped off. As a parent why the heck would you send you kids to a school like this?!

I don't know if spelling errors counts as support of poor spelling, but there were plenty of those..... Of course those that think the King James is still the original word handed down from God won't be convinced as modern revisions have fixed most or (all?) of them.
